TOPIC:ISSUE51 - "Education will be truly effective only when it isspecifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests ofeach student."

Thespeaker favors the contention that education only designed forindividuals to meet their needs and interests can it at last beeffective. However,I cannot agree with this opinion. For it is nothelpful either to the publicity or the individuals. And then I willgive my reasons as described below:
Itis not simple or easy to give an explicit meaning to the educationand the concrete methods of how to cultivate next generations letalone with efficiency. This topic has been long discussed with thepace of improvement of the human society. Socrates never said that hewas so smart and full of wisdom that persons should gain knowledgefrom his teaching. Oppositely, he believed that education is aprocess of  eliciting the skills the god endows to the person. Heoften took pride of this. Another case in ancient China is thatConfucius(one of the most significant ideologists in China) held thatknowledge is transfered by the teachers to the students. This twostriking differences have influenced western and eastern educationpattern for a long time and both theories have prove themselves doeswork during the long river of the history by that a lot of theirscholars attain great significance. So nowadays  people also do notknow how to turn education effective.
Alsopersonalized education may cause some problems that the whole societyare afraid of. Time has saw that crime and war do not have beenpeaced since more universities and training centers are built andbetter conditions are provided. Nowadays fathers cannot not go to theairport with sons to the plane. Because the security check is popularto go against the terrorism arising in recent 20 years. What makesthis change happen? Education should be laid with responsibility forthis trend. The details are in the college most students may not alltake the kind of courses on the moral sentiments and ethicsphilosophy. This may lead to the lack of the sense to care aboutothers. Unless public virtues was instilled into the mind ofstudents, they are likely to be a threat to the public security.
Besides,some students may not want to take the course of math and practicalcourse because they are so boring and difficult. As a result, onefield of technology is possible to be short of students and the otherare overweight of learners.. Consequently, resources are not betterdistributed among the students and many of them may be wasted. Thissituation is also not conducive to the students themselves despitethat they can choose any thing they like and get ride of dislikingones.
Thepremise that students could choose the courses which meet theirinterests and needs is like that a child is left alone in the bigsupermarket to buy goods he really wants,in fact he does not knowwhat he really needs. The problem is it is difficult for the studentsto choose courses. For example he likes physics most, and therequirement is that a profound mastering of math is indispensable.However students may not know all about this. He may get confusedduring the period of choosing. Subsequently, time here is wasted. Butif there are some compulsory courses available, maybe much time issaved and usage of education resources could get better performance.Not only free choice is not good to students, but also it is notinstrumental to students' finding occupation.
Employmentmarket is especially relevant to the graduation of students. Thinkingthat if the number of a particular sort of graduates so too  largethat it is more than the ability of the market to afford. What couldhappen? Surely, more people will not find jobs. Simultaneously, theevolution of the whole society may lose balance. For example, as iswell known that Russian is developed in the arms but the lightindustry. She lacks of energy from that and goes forward slowly.
Insummary,  it is proper that some flexible courses are open to chooseunder some situation. To do like this is also important for studentsto nurish their ability of independent study. However, it is not wiseenough to let individual to choose freely whatever he wants learn.

Unless public virtues were instilled into the mind of students, they are likely to be a threat to the public security.这一段作者的观点比较偏激,而且对于战争的犯罪问题,历来都是社会最为关注的问题,如果仅仅依靠教育九可以解决的话,那国家领导人就该笑醒了

LZ的文笔还是很不错的,看起来有一定的功力了。但是就这篇文章而言有两个部分,一是何为个性化教育?另一个是怎样才算有效?对于第一个问题我在5D里给出了自己的见解。第二个问题我的理解是让学生学得深学的透,学有所长就算有效。但是这里作者把教育对社会问题的解决视为有效,如果非要这么说的话那在叙述前需要有一个过渡。作者的观点很新颖,但在立论方面还需要斟酌。
