Must both parents and communities take partin the local schools, as the speaker claims? I agree with the assertion of thespeaker insofar as education is significantly important and need the attentionsof the parents and communities. However, when it comes to some cases, we haveto take into account more factors relevant to education.

Parents and communities should place muchemphasis on the local schools in that parents and communities are closelyconnected with the students in the daily life and parents are the people whoknow best about their children. If the society put all of the responsibilitieson the teachers, the education without parents and communities cannot actuallybe effective. For supporting examples, one need look no further than Picassowho is a great painter in the history of art and is the founder of Cubism.Picasso showed great gifts when he just was boy. However, it is his father whofound Picasso's gifts in art and painting. After many years study, Picassobecame such a famous painter in our world. Thus, it is vital for parents toconsider the advantage of their children, and thereby know how to educate them.

On the other hand, most of parents andcommunities are not as professional as the teachers in the school. It is notreasonable to acquire all the parents and communities to be involved in thelocal schools.

School can provide a great number ofconditions for their students to take advantage of while the parents and communitiescan help with their children in some aspects. After all, teachers working in schoolare much better profession al than parents and communities. For instance,Stephen Hawking is a scientist of physics of theory and is deemed to be animportant scientist in theory of universe of human history. When he was young,he was interested in the mathematics and determined to study physics in hislater life. After he obtained the scholarship of Oxford University,he begin his true achievements which are so radical and difficult in our time.At the same time parents and communities can do nothing but support him.Therefore, the ability and capability of parentsand communities in the advance education is limited evidently.

Besides, the school and instructions fromparents and communities are not the only way for education in order to educatethe children. There are huge amounts of masters who is self-educated in the ownlife. Consider Albert Einstein for instance. When Einstein was in his college,he actually spent much more time on research of scientific literatures whichattracted him mostly than the course of his major. Even though his classmatesworked hard on their study, the accomplishments of them cannot be compared withEinstein. Consequently, self-educated is indeed crucial in the process ofeducation, which cannot be replaced by professional educators or parents andcommunities.

On the whole, parents and communitiesshould be involved in the local schools which are preliminary while teacher inthe school are equally vital for the students. Furthermore, students shouldalso teach themselves for their own interest.
