TOPIC: ISSUE130 - "How children aresocialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have notyet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a bettersociety."
WORDS: 651->660          TIME: 0:45:00          DATE: 2007-3-31

There is thinking that the socialization ofchildren decides the destiny of society and we do not learn how to raise thesechildren. As far as I am concerned, though at present the educators do not paysufficient attention to the education of socialization, people are increasinglylearning the importance of this and studying it.

The socialization of children determineshow they can fit in the society and whether the society will be an efficientone. One of the popular definitions of socialization is that howchildren can work with others. In the modern time, since the society requirespeople to work efficiently they must learn to be specialized. Thus, how tocooperate with each other is important to the society which wants to beefficient. For example, in a corporation of producing intelligent devices, someoneis good at programming and some other one is good at designing the board. Todesign excellent product, it requires both programmers and hardware designersto work with each other; in contrast, if the software does not run correctly onthe hardware, the devices will not work. On the other hand, when grown up, thesefuture citizens should learn to live harmoniously with their neighbors.Because the children will be the future of a society, people, as their predecessors,tend to learn the importance of socialization.

Despite the importance of socialization,the tradition method of education, the main way of raise children, does notfocus on raising children to be socialized sufficiently. Though one of the mainaims of education is to produce socialized people, at present, many educators onlycenter their attention to the future higher education and labor market. In China, forinstance, the high schools provide their students with a lot of courses almostonly in the academic fields while many other socialization subjects are notoffered sufficiently. In the United  States, the university teachers always meetthe head of corporations to find what types of students they want. Because ofthis, the educators make efforts to provide many kinds of courses and mostof which are concentrated on the fields of academic including math, computerand other academic subjects. In spite of providing courses about interaction atthe same time, they tend to suppose they are the subordinate  addition to the main courses and many of theseare offered only 2~3 credits per semester in contrast to the main courses with17~19 credits per session.

However, with the development of education,people are increasingly learning the importance of socialization and many ofthem exert their best to meet the need of this. More and more educators findout that though their students are with great knowledge in both theories and practicalaspects, they do not know what to work with the other employees. For example,many graduated students in both high schools and universities find they have difficultyin working with each others. Thus, many professors in education point out thatthey should concentrated on the socialization when the children when they arestill in school. In the United  States, a growing number of teachersencourage their students to work in the society when they are still in highschool or even primary school. On the other hand, many universities offerco-operation programs which make the students work in some certain companiesfor a time in order to let them learn to work with each others. Though only asmall part of schools practise, many other schools start to notice this and thenprepare it. Many universities that do not practise start to send their teachersto the universities that have provided co-operation programs to understand howthey work. In addition, many researches are begun to study which is the bestway to raise children socialized.

In sum, we must admit that socialization isimportant since it determines the destiny of society. Though traditionaleducation focus on the academic studying exceedingly, many educators start toknow the importance of socialization.

There is thinking that the socialization of children decides the destiny of society and we do not learn how to raise these children. As far as I am concerned, I agree with this statement while I should point out that people are increasingly studying this subject.(第一段可以稍微长点,把论点再叙述得详细丰满一些)

The socialization of children determines how they can fit in the society and whether the society will be an efficient one. One of the popular definitions of socialization is that how children can work with others. In the modern time, since the society requires people to work efficiently they must learn to be specialized. Thus, how to cooperate with each other is important to the society which wants to be efficient. For example, in a corporation of producing intelligent devices, someone is good at programming and some other one is good at designing the board. To design excellent product, it requires both programmers and hardware designers to work with each other; in contrast, if the software does not run correctly on the hardware, the devices will not work. On the other hand, when grown up, these future citizens should learn to live harmoniously with their neighbors. Because the children will be the future of a society, people, as their predecessors, tend to learn the importance of socialization.(例子不太符合论点)

Despite the importance of socialization, the tradition method of education, the main way of raise children, does not focus on raising children to be socialized sufficiently. Though one of the main aims of education is to produce socialized people, at present, many educators only center their attention to the future higher education and labor market. In China, for instance, the high schools provide their students with a lot of courses almost only in the academic fields while many other socialization subjects are not offered sufficiently. In the United States, the university teachers always meet the head of corporations to find what types of students they want. Because of this, the educators make efforts to provide many kinds of courses and most of which are concentrated in the fields of academic including math, computer and other academic subjects. In spite of providing courses about interaction at the same time, they tend to suppose they are the subordinate  addition to the main courses and many of these are offered only 2~3 credits per semester in contrast to the main courses with 17~19 credits per session.(这段是从反面说,但和主论点贴得不紧)

However, with the development of education, people are increasingly learning the importance of socialization and many of them exert their best to meet the need of this. More and more educators find out that though their students are with great knowledge in both theories and practical aspects, they do not know what to work with the other employees. For example, many graduated students in both high schools and universities find they have difficulty in working with each others. Thus, many professors in education point out that they should concentrated in the socialization when the children when they are still in school. In the United States, a growing number of teachers encourage their students to work in the society when they are still in high school or even primary school. On the other hand, many universities offer co-operation programs which make the students work in some certain companies for a time in order to let them learn to work with each others. Though only a small part of schools practise, many other schools start to notice this and then prepare it. Many universities that do not practise start to send their teachers to the universities that have provided co-operation programs to understand how they work. In addition, many researches are begun to study which is the best way to raise children socialized.(感觉这段意思也不明确)

In sum, we must admit that socialization is important since it determines the destiny of society. Though traditional education focus on the academic studying exceedingly, many educators start to know the importance of socialization.
(总体来说,虽然字数很多,但是中心论点很不明晰,而且各段未能很好的支持并展开论点,这样字数多反而成为了累赘,不如用更多的时间去构思,写好提纲,建议看一下这篇文章对应的北美范文)
