I do not agree with the speaker. Though I concede that parents and communities may provide some help to education when they are involved in the local schools, in most cases, what they provide is of no value.
Admittedly, when parents and communities come into the schools, they can have a clear reorganization about school--how it runs, how it teaches students, how it cultures a person. Through such recognization, we society can give the school a relative evaluation which show the quality of schools--better or worse--. And such evaluation may in step spur the school do better for the well assessing which can help school win the honor and gain profits. For example, in our country, the school--Beijing University--never worries about any students(个人觉得这里用所有格更好,students') coming, because of its better assessing of good quality. For that matter, such school always can own the best students which will advance the school' quality again. (看不出第一段的内容与第一段第一句论点有任何关系)
However, in many cases, what parents and communities do are not play (playing) such (a) good role, especially when consider the school to attain the goal of
education. Clearly, education do (play) great role in two aspects, let students learn more useful knowledge and technology and let them to (去掉to) be a qualified person. First, parents and communities can do little in letting students learn more useful knowledge(这句是否能再好好斟酌一下,换个句子,否则与前面重复). On the one hand, in college or university, most knowledge is comparable about special territory (可能是我理解能力有限,这句话我理解不了,感觉有点怪) which many parents and communities never dabble, and are difficult to acknowledge(???). In such case, how can we lend our brief to
them? So, when parents and communities are involved in the local schools to interference (貌似interference只能做名词,这里可用intervene) such aspect, I cannot see anything they can do, rather to help. On the other hand, to certain extent, how to make person (??chinglish) is always resorted to the teacher and the peers around the students. In most times (times做复数时是次数的意思,这里应该去掉s) , students learn the reason from teachers and copy the right deed from the peers. With (From) teachers, they know clearly how to draw their blueprint of life and how to own some tremor (??如表示美德的话可用virtue) such as honesty, helpfulness and so forth. With (From) peers, they always learn from each other and find the best to pursue. In short, to attain the goal of education, it is the same well when leave solely to a group of professional educators.(???chinglish)(难道communities里就没有peers值得去学习?)
Moreover, in some cases, to parents and communities, they cannot pay attention to education, for they are busy to live (养活??可用feed) themselves, leave their families, live with a cozy environment.(意思有点奇怪这句话,可改为for that they are busy raising the whole family by leaving their family for a cozy environment) Especially to some poor family (families) , the parents had to spend their whole day's time (用whole day就行了) to gain (earn) money for run (running,不过个人认为这里用不定式好点,即to support) their family. And if we demand them involving in the local schools, how can they breed their children-the students--without enough time on job? Then if it is difficult to the students to live, how can he study hard and master the knowledge and technology (chinglish) ? Therefore, such demand should be operated; we should give some right to let them choose according to their conditions.
In sum, I agree with the speaker that parents and communities should provide some help to education until they have considered their condition and whether they provide the help of good value.
