太好了，我也被这个学校的金融工程录取了！
我认为这个学校的金融工程应该很强的，应为我当初挑学校的时候由于没有相关的排名，我就参考了各个学校的应用数学系的排名，然后再去那些学校的数学院去看program。当时看得时候polytechnic的应用数学在美国有60。

你的program是manhattan的还是布鲁克林的？poly fe大概前20吧

there are only a handful of MFE programs in US, so top20 ranking really isn't that good.
I can't comment on this program as i don't have first hand information. But i have heard some bad words from guys who were in the program.

To me, POLY has its advantage of being in nyc, a huge plus in terms of job hunting. But in terms of reputation or course contents, i think it's not comparable to other 2nd tier programs such as Baruch@CUNY, rugters, BU, Gatech or Michigan, not to mention 1st tier programs from Berkeley, CMU, Colunmbia, stanford, princeton, chicago, NYU, Toronto, Cornell...

ask someone who are in the program and you may have better ideas...best of lucks...:)
