The assertion that only an expert can offer valuable critical judgment concerning her or his field sounds very unreasonable. The author has a bias for the distinct qualities among human being, which is quite dangerous, since s/he might block other insightful opinions. What I firmly believe in is that we should judge the critics itself, instead of taking into account of background of the speaker.

To begin with, one can not insure that an expert will always give impersonal, impartial and fair judgment. An expert is, after all, a human being which secures the possibility of making mistakes.  Sometimes, even the greatest thinkers fail to give the right answer. To illustrate, the famous scientist Isaac Newton who had established the Newton's laws of Motion, had been refuted by  Albert Einstein who advocated the relativity theory. Moreover, an eminent scientist Hawking, the author of the brief history of time, has been questioned about his black hole theory.  On the basis of that expert makes lapses as well, we can not wholly depend on the critical judgment from an expert.

Secondly, common runs of man can invariably provide the most inspiring insights which would influence a particular field so deep that even mark the origins of a myriad of great works. It is the case especially in the field of art, literature, music etc. In English literature, many poets, such as Wordsworth, Byron, Shelley, who had a deep passion for nature and traveled a lot, absorbed distinct and vivid raw materials for their creative work. In Chinese literature, there was once an ancient poet who would collected stories from the country folks and afterwards read his poem to them to correct and improve his works. The essence of greatness lies in the beauty of varied thoughts.

Thirdly, we must be aware that, even from the very first beginning of thinking, before there is clearly distinction among fields, like what we call biology, science, geometry, astrology etc, all of the species, things, nature---all the elements of the earth are intertwined closely. Nowadays, we often emphasize the notion of “interdisciplinariness". No doubt, it is the essence of human being's wisdom. As long as all subjects, fields are closely related, even an person outside a given field could add rung to the ladder of human race's achievement and contribute to that field.

On the other hand, it should be supervised that some unwarranted and groundless opinions from irresponsible person not be introduced to a given field. While we are welcoming a variety of opinions, we should also be cautious and prudent to the valueless assertions that are in disguise.

In a nutshell, we should not have biased preoccupied views against something or somebody. And valuable perspectives shall be respected regardless of the speaker's background. The most important thing we should bear in mind is that no subject or field could remain alive only by itself. Without the strong mutual support among different fields, we could not have a world like this now.
