其实上一届 有人转了的。 转到数学相关的专业去了. 是石溪的 offer.  你这个选择真的很让人佩服啊。 不过我觉得就是这样， 不喜欢 的就要勇敢一点跳出去.

I do not think your major is that bad. At least I believe that you have had solid knowledge of basic sicence which is good for your future study and career.

How do you believe I am a naive child. Do you believe China can consume three hundred thousand doctors every year? If not, why these schools cheat so many innocent students into a wasting and half-done professional education doomed to graduate without a job.

I believe that our country absoulately need doctors. However, if you think to be a doctor in major cities who can make money is a real doctor, I must confess that we do not need that number of doctors. If not, demand for doctors still exceed supply of them. There are some places in west regions where doctors are urgrntly needed aren't there? This is not my personal illusion or assumption but conclusion from reading literatures from not only chinese peer reviewed journals but also american as well.  I am not sure if you are a navie child. But I do not like you expression as a judge who always decries you mother land rather than do somthing for it.

That's it. I will not reply this topic any more. Thanks for starting considering what you can do to ameliorate current situation of your mother land rather than complain about it, if not like a navie child, like a judge. Good luck.

边远地方还是很缺医生的
当年我们下乡实习的时候
(其实也不是真的下乡，就是到下边县城的小医院去)
像我们这些重点医科大学的学生
还是很受欢迎的
可惜啊 毕业以后能到那些地方的人太少了
不知道怎样才能把现在这些多的泛滥的毕业生吸引到缺医少药的地方去:( :(

法学、医学这些过去公认的传统热门也排在后面，就业率分别只有37.85%和 31.01%。
In fact, I realize this forum is not an suitable place to present some facts. Sometimes people just lose common sense and unfortunately even do not  realize it.  Even worse, Some people label any critics of obvious unfairness in our society as unpatriotic.

China needs more girls than doctors thanks to the selective abortion of fetal girls  especially in some places in west regions, especially in some places in west regions where girls are urgrntly needed . I believe that our country absoulately need girls. If you are a girl, I guess you are, I highly recommend you come back and help one of our poor brothers. Thanks for starting considering what you can do to ameliorate current shortage of girls in our mother land.

都是扩招惹的祸。9年前生物PH.D还算不错。可惜后来NIH大幅增加拨款，对应的就是生物PH.D大幅扩招导致了如今的局面。
国内扩招比美国更厉害。:o
今天居然在报纸上看到一整版歌颂国内大学扩招的文章。彻底无语。:o
