第一重：因果关系，看前半句：因为技术进步使... easy，所以水在园林建筑中的使用应该是更加类似普遍这种意思，第一个空格可以填的有 A 和D，具有普遍的意思，

第二重：递进。even: water features: 解释水的景观，在一些场合，在公共场所安装水的景观是。。。
从这个递进关系看，普遍的递进，不应该是prohibitive。A可以排除，prohibitive是限制的。

句子的意思是这个作者没有意识的他所批判的一个写作风格和她自己相似，然后怎么的，不能理解
