先提醒大家，如果约了12：30以后，下午才可以进去，10点半就有人开始排队，12点半开始放人，不要重蹈我的覆辙（我上午去排队被赶了出去）

本人背景：我的Case比较复杂，有据签史、退学（从国外学校）、身份曾空白过、换校（不过是换了个好学校）。去年1000、2000半奖差校，资金不足悲剧；之后呆在实验室，身份空白半年；后来在国外读PhD半年，还没跟导师讲，放假回来签证，准备签完退学。这次换好学校，全奖，没有隐瞒退学，准备了空白期的证明（学院盖章、导师签字的证明）。

VO：今天比较幸运，坐的位置刚好看到签我们那组的vo：7号，很慢，感觉他比较看重材料，会仔细看你的材料，不会轻易据，一对探亲的签了大概20min，最后黄纸，资料不足，让补材料。8号还是带黑框眼镜的帅哥，去年1000就是他签的，今天也据了几个。9号签的很快。其他没注意。

签证实录：
me: Good afternoon, sir. (big smile)
vo: (smile)
vo: Left index figure, right figure.
vo: #%^&*
me: (not hear clearly) sorry?
vo: So u r XX?
me: Yeah.
vo: (looking at computer for a while)
vo: u will go to study at XX Univ?
me: yes, XX(my major).
vo: (look at I-20) Could u give me ur offer letter?
me: (hand in the letter)
vo: (look at the offer letter, very carefully)
vo: What will u do after graduation?
me: You mean after XX Univ?
vo: (nod)
me: I wanna be a professor at a top Chinese university and become one of experts in the field of XX (my concentration). Coz I'm very interested in the field.
vo: u r studying at XX Univ ( my current univ)
me: yeah
vo: so u'd like to transfer to XX Univ?
me: Yeah, coz i am more interest in the research project at XX Univ, XX (my concentration) . (Introduce my concentration with one sentense). Besides, the professor at XX is better. I notice he published more than ten papers just in the past 2 years at XX Univ. So I believe I can learn more under his direction.　
vo: Cong~
me: Thank u very much. Have a nice day!

感想：过程比较水，参考价值可能不大，7号主要看材料，offer letter 一行行看下来，其实最后退学理由说了一个的时候，他就准备给绿条了，见我还要说，他就又让我说了一句。

经过一年的磨练，心理成熟了不少。以前进去后会很紧张，和VO对话时脑子空白，完全凭本能对话，很被动。这次交完材料后也开始紧张，心跳，毕竟Case比较复杂，但后来和周围的人聊聊天，就一点都不紧张了，interview的时候还可以脑子思考:) 并且，说话的时候考虑到了不能有背诵的感觉，加一些语气词；做到了全程站的很直，一直盯着VO的眼睛:)

我的专业比较敏感，已经作好check的准备了。可能是给VO讲解了下研究领域（用什么方法，应用于什么领域），最后pass了～

退学的同学没必要隐瞒，transfer去接受更好的教育在国外是很普遍的事情。还有很多人一直问先退学还是先签证，我个人觉得先退学对签证没有任何正面影响，但可能增加了自己的心理负担，何必不给自己留一条退路呢？而且容易给人造成不去美国不行的感觉。当然，签证官可能会考虑退学的时间投入和回报的问题，读时间长的同学应该考虑下这个问题，我自己准备的答案是：I don’t think it is a waste of time. But it saves my time to achieve my goals. With better research program, supervisor, facilities and academic atmosphere at XX, I could more easily realize my career. Besides, my previous research is quite beneficial to the future research project. ......
