Introduction:
For purpose of helping Chinese students who want to prepare for graduate study in North America to gain a stronger background in the field of economics and finance, DiySmart is going to hold a real time stock/options trading stimulation competition by employing Investopedia’s trading platform, which is the most realistic stimulation system for the Canadian and USA stock markets. Player will have 100,000 USD starting fund; and then player may choose to invest in all major stocks and option markets in North America include: NASDAQ, ASE, TSE. Players will use whatever their have learnt to grow their investment portfolio to achieve the highest rank in this competition.

Registration Period: May 15th 2007 – 15th July 2007
Competition Period: 15th June 2007 – 15th Nov 2007

Player Qualification:

Must be currently enrolled in a college/University in China. Finance related major is encouraged but not an necessary condition for joining; we only recommend those who are planning to apply for U.S/Canada Finance, Financial Engineering, and Economics graduate programs to join this competition.
Investopeida trading platform is English-only interface, so players must be good at English.
Award:

First Place Award $200 USD + a Certifiate of Excellence

Second Place Award $100 USD + a Certifiate of Excellence

Third Place Award $50 USD + a Certifiate of Excellence


How to Join:
Player may choose to join as an individual or a team of at most 4 players.
There is no fee for joining this Game.
