I was born in a big city and have lived in it for more twenty years. But I prefer to live in a small town because of more and more serious pollution problems in a big city. We all know that one thing have its two sides. Both big city and small town are respectively advantageous for people who lived in it. I will give some reasons to explain it.
I think, firstly, that people who lived in a big city can enjoy not only all kinds of complete service and convenient transportation, but also high-educated facilities. They can enjoy good and comprehensive medical care in modern hospital when they suffer from some disease hard to cure. We can also take a bus or taxi to go to work if company is far from away home in order to arrive at company on time. Furthermore, there are a great many high-educated and famous colleges and universities, so the children who lived in a big city can enjoy high-level and normal education, which is helpful to their future.
However, the advantage in a big city has gradually disappeared as population of rapid growth and more and more serious pollution problems. It is inevitably that small town has gradually been chosen by people who used to live in a big city, because there are fresh air, clean river, green trees and less pollution to see in a small town. In addition, the traffic has not been overcrowded by many vehicles and people like big city. You can see beautiful environment anywhere if you drive on the road yourself, which will make you forget all the trouble and lessen the stress resulted from upsetting work.
In my opinion, I prefer to live in a small town because it is beneficial for our health, even though there are good service, transportation and high-level education. We should pay more attention to our health rather than wonderful lifestyle in a big city. I believe that we will live longer and happier in a small town than in a big city.
