If I could change one important thing about my hometown, I would like to change environment pollution in our city. I will give the reasons to explain why I want to change environment pollution problems.
Firstly, the most important reason is that I hope that my hometown can turn into a beautiful and clean city. Because the city I live in was ever an important and famous city with long history. But now, with the rapid growth in the society, the air in the sky is polluted; the river we ordinarily drink is also full of all kinds of waste and often has a foul smell around us, and so on. We all know that environment we live in are very important to each people. This will make us not only suffer from some disease, but also endanger our human’s lives. So this above point is very vital to change polluted environment into a clean and beautiful city we each hope.
Another important reason is that I hope that my hometown can attract more and more tourists to visit old buildings and fascinating landscape in our city. But if the city has been badly polluted, I think that tourists will lose interest in it and even be given a very bad impression to our city, which will affect the city’s development in the future and may cause an inevitably phenomenon that people in our city will gradually immigrate to another clean and less polluted city to live. Most of students will also choose to find a job in other city after they graduate rather than continue to work and live in their own city. If it really occurs, our city will gradually go to decline and disappear in the end. But I do not want to see this situation out of hand. So I hope that the pollution problems in my hometown can be solved as soon as quickly.
In a word, if I could change one important thing about my hometown, it would be environment pollution in our city because a good and clean environment is very important and necessary to people’s health and lives. Meanwhile, I also hope that we each people should be aware of importance of environment. Let’s construct a non-polluted city in our hometown.

No doubt that whether or not success mostly depends on the extent a person work hard for it. In other word, if a person work hard, he or she is likely to have access to success. But one thing has its two sides, and it is not absolutely right. Sometimes luck is also very important factor in the process of success.
Firstly, luck also tends to decide about one thing’s success or failure. For example, you plan to apply for a job in a very competitive company. However, because there are many excellent candidates to compete a position, you have little chance to succeed even though you have prepared for this position for a long time. But if boss has expected preference to you and think that you are very more suitable than others for this position the boss imaged. For this situation, luck is very important for you to succeed.
Secondly, a person is absolutely not likely to succeed if a person merely relies on luck rather than work hard. We all know that whatever you want is easily acquired unless you make an effort for your goal. Compared with the extent you work hard, luck only serve as secondary function and it has to be based on effort. For above example, if you have no enough capacity to be competent and concerned knowledge about the company requires, you must not be employed, even though the boss have a preference to you. So, obviously, we should have a correct and objective attitude towards approach to succeed.
In my opinion, I will try my best to achieve my goal without relying on too much luck because I believe that chance is always waiting for those who have prepared for their goal.
