没想到这么水。准备的材料都没用。
不过大家该准备的还是要准备，我今天看到一个F1就被问了好久。

(虽然我想了很多，但是VO问我这个问题的时候，我还是只答了第一句，汗，大家看着办，仅供参考)
I will study Industrial Engineering and Operation Research in xxx University. Mainly I am interested in production system and logistics and am going to focus my area on them.
Actually it is a very useful field. Its application is mainly related to the production process. (接下面的归国计划)

Industrial Engineering involves the design, organization and economic operation of integrated production or service systems. It concerns people, materials and equipment. Areas of application include manufacturing production processes, and service organizations, such as banks, libraries and government agencies.
Generally speaking, operations research is a branch of industrial engineering that deals with mathematical modeling and analysis of physical or economical models.
Production system: design, monitor and control of complex systems. Production process model, analysis and improvement, e-business system
Logistics: Planning, controlling the effective flow of the material, service, information and capital flows.）
为什么要去美国：
Chinese education of the area is in its early stage。USA is leading in the field, it has complete disciplinary development as well as advanced techniques and knowledge..
再把学校那堆东西搬上来说,为什么选这个学校
Xxx University a world famous and in Industrial Engineering, xxx is leading.
And one of my textbook about production and supply chain which I found very interesting is wrote by Professor Philip in Xxx University.
Actually Xxx’s faculty members are some of the world’s leading expert in the area. I am very interested in the area and want to discuss problems with the Professors.
The professors are actively doing various researches and they give frequently related lectures.

为什么回国而不在美国：
Manufacturing in American is transferring abroad and China has a huge market. As China become the center of global manufacturing and cost of production rises in the near future, efficient production become a key to make a profit. So industrial engineering, especially production system (including advanced production process, correct facility layout, logistics) would be a promising field in China. With the advanced education I received in xxx, I will have great advantage over other people. So I will get a good job in some company as senior consultant.  
Even if I cannot find a good job at first, my uncle has a company selling mechanical hands and I can help him designing the process and assembly systems and managing routine tasks. Also I can come to my father’s company. He is in charge of 3 branch offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou.

(2) 美国ie市场饱和，中国紧缺人才，而且有了xxx的学历，在中国我有很大的优势。

16) Can you explain why 90% Chinese students didn't come back?
（1）死不承认
It may used to be the fact, but things are changing during the recent years. As far as I know, more and more students come back to China after they finish their study.
(2) 专业关系
And I also think there is some factor about majors. Some majors in theoretical science may require advanced equipment to do research and China may not have the equipment. So they stayed in USA because of USA can provide them better equipment and environment to do research. But industrial engineering and operations research is a practical subject which is urgently needed in China.

I am an individual, and I am a 100 percent certain that I will be one of the 10% students who come back。

It is very useful. Its application can help increase production efficiency. As companies’ production system becoming more and more complex, many suffer from low efficiency and waste. Industrial engineering can design the process in a scientific way.
Companies and government are paying more and more attention to improve and they always willing to provide many funds in this field.
People who engaged in the field get good salary.

Because of my major and career plan.
I want to be a senior consultant in a manufacturing company but I find my self lacking necessary advanced theories and techniques.

China introduced the major a few years ago, education of the area is in its early stage。Disciplinary development in China is not as complete as that in USA. Its USA not China leads in the field.
