Is it necessary for all nations to establish a global university to solve the international persistent social problems? The speaker asserts so, and I strongly agree with his statement. With mutual interests, to set up a global university is better able to help solve a myriad of global headaches. Nevertheless, there will be many unconceivable and unavoidable difficulties so that all nations should make no efforts to minimize the cost to achieve their aims.

A global university can combine a variety of ideas and cultures, thereby providing more valuable and viable approaches to solve problems. The faculty and students in a global university, who are from various countries, not only have different colors of skins, hair and eyes, but also own different backgrounds and ways to see the world. There is no doubt that on the same issue, people in eastern countries may have totally different opinion from these of western countries. However, these two kinds of perspectives can also provide effective ways to solve social problems, for the reason that these similar headaches happen in nearly every corners of the world and almost every country establishes its own system to cope them, no matter legal or political. Thus in a global university, all kinds of opinions and social structures may come together to provide a wholly new method of thinking, even more effective ways to treat with global social problems. Nevertheless, there are some risks that we must be very wary of--- the conflicts of different cultures and background may provide disservice to unity of human and undermine the ultimate goal's achievement. But with the rapid development of advanced technology of intercommunication, it is not a too tough problem for us to overcome.

The world's persistent social problems, which cannot be solved by any single nation, are calling for international cooperation. One of the advisable approaches to cope with it is to establish a global university. A good case in point is the problem of Green gas. From cars, air conditioners, refrigerators, factories, CFC cans and so forth, green gases have become one of the biggest threat for us human as well as other species on earth. The rising sea level, more people who die from skin diseases by too much sun exposal, more species disappearing because of change of climate ----we cannot suffer more of these. To create a better world for contemporaries and future generations, we need unify to overcome these difficulties. History supports that global cooperation is effective to solve such international problems. The Tokyo Proposal has passed to limit the emissions of CO2 by many countries and the effect of it has  come to be realized by the masses.  Therefore, to solve global mutual social problems calls for universal cooperation-- global university may provide such a flat from people from all countries to communicate, negotiate and get through these serious global problems.

While considering the benefit a global university brings to us, we may also pay attention to these potential risks. For example, how to distribute limited resources and funds for the operation of the university may be an obstacle for the decisions' making and working. Or, consider, without an effective and fair structure, the university may eventually become minority countries' new implement to control other undeveloped ones. However, with common efforts by every participant, we may minimize the adverse impact, or even put these threats to an end.

In conclusion, to establish a global university is benefit to human, which combines various ideas and perspectives, provides a flat for communication and negotiation, as well as an effective way to solve the world's most persistent social problems.

the suggestion that developing a global university for students to solve the most stubborn difficulties in the world is pleasing, after all there are so intractable problems we have to need confront and tackle together. these undesirable things is so persistent and rigid that even if exerting the highest scientific technology in the most promising industry period we cannot root out them off our beautiful, comfortable living environment. and thus to establish a global university  for saplings in the world to receive targeted education and cultivation to prepare for facing and solving the persistent social difficulties probably is a wise solution out of infinite irreconcilable factors.

however, can developing a global university lead to be harmony when solving the world's most persistent social problems ? after all, what is the most persistent social problems is a difficult thing to be defined. Maybe every nations have different definitions due to their individual development in political, industry, culture , and even living environment. developed countries such as north America may be more inclined to pointing at increasing environmental pollutions related closely with human's life safety including food pollution (mainly resulting from transgenic technology), air pollution(such as exhausts from various vehicles,),hazardous waste difficult to degrade, noise pollution, soil pollution and more, while developing nations such as many Asian countries focus more on industry and education development because of realizing the disparity with developed areas, and quite a few undeveloped countries are struggling for being devoid of starvation, death from cold and all kinds of disease. would we be hard-hearted to qualify most persistent problems in undeveloped areas in environmental pollutions during they are suffering from starvation and let students from developed nations imagine the feelings of living in the war disregarding diverse chemical, physical(e g particular matter),or biological agents in the polluted air brought about from their higher scientific technology. that is nothing rather than waste.

therefore, it would be perfect if all nations had a common resolution to solve the most persistent social problems with the spirit of tolerance, coordination and harmony. if it can be true, there are no wars, no racial discrimations, no enlarging gap between the rich and the poor in our pleasant world,and thus develop a global university will be necessary to solve the swelling problems.

developing a global university based on objective coordination and true harmony in all nations can be conducive to valuable research achievements, such as global warmth and melting iceberg resulting in our soaking in saliferous water, destructive influerence on large areas of tropospheric ozone, and rooted cultural conflict owing to long-term cultural habits and mores, and avoid useless even harmful consequences(e g, the research of the clones) in all kinds of fields required the whole world to confront. of course, developing a global university must be attention to a large number of things, containing enrolling procedure, curriculums, the moral disciplines with the definite intention of solving the world's most persistent problems.

in sum, if every nation can keep expansive tolerance, objective coordination and true harmony
in mind ,it is essential that all nations support the development of a global university to

There is a saying that as the development of the globalization, the world is
becommimg more and more small, meanwhile more serious problems such as conflicts
between countries, trade debates, culture invasion, etc, have got worse. So it
is need for all nations to support the development of a global university
designed to engage students in the process of solving the world's most persistent
social problems.

First, the globalization makes the communication and interaction betweens
countries more easily and problems more complex, which can not be settled easily
by one country. In the past, as the limit of technology, the contacts between
countries are very rare and there is no need to concern other country's problems.
However, it is inevitable that the benefit of one country is related to others
now. The interaction between each country's culture lessens the concept of nation
which is caused by the advanced technology. The world's problems emerging now are
more complex, which are common and related many countries' profits. For instance,
the conflict between Israel and Palestinian has continued for many years. Until now,
considering the profits of America and other countries, it is not a simple problem
which can be delt with the only effort of these two countries. What's more, as the
implement of reform and open policy, especially after entering into the WTO, China
has faced many serious problems, such as trade conflicts with other countries,
environment deterioration, tradition culture loss, etc. Only by cooperating with
international societies, can these issues be settled easily.  
      
Second, the students from the global university has many proficiencies to solve
these world's problems. The global university has the advantage to supply a
platform for the students to be familiar with the international issues. They can
master many countries' language and the character of their culture, which are
indispensable tools to solve the world's problems. You can imagine the embarrass
condition when one international official who knows nothing about Iraq are
appointed to deal with the issues there. What's more, with the support of all nations
the university can easily supply an simulated international society for the
students to be familiar with and practise to handle the world's problems.
   
Admittedly, just by one country, some problems can be settled at last, but the
cost of them are very high. Considering the rapid development of China, it is sure
that the effective method to treat SARS can be gained sooner or later. However,
this must be done with the effort of many intelligent specialists. So the cost
will be incalculable. If taking the advise and cooperating with specialists from
other countries especially from developed countries like America, Japan, Germany,
this problem can be handled economically.

In conclusion, with regard to the complexity and extensiveness of the world's
problems, a global university has the advantage to supply effective methods to
solve them. So all nations should contribute to this world's strategy which relates
to their own benefits.

As the development of advanced technology, we have a sense that the world is becomming more and mre less. Meanwhile, we can enjoy the convenience brought by it. So there is a saying that there is no doubt that every aspect of society-including education, politics, the arts, and the sciences-will benefit greatly from international influencies. However, I can not agree with this statement completely.

On one hand, the growth of global networks certainly benefits ue in many aspects. We can communicate with friends in other overseas easily.

On the other hand, some aspects of society are facing threats and damage brought by the growth of global networks. It is inevitable that each progress will bring some new problems. The growth should be responsible for the environment deterioration, species extinction, traditional culture loss, aggravation between rich and poor, etc.

In conclusion, considering the convenience and damage brought by the growth of global networks, we can not get a hasty generalization that it is no doubt we will benefit greatly from the growth in every aspects of society. Just by using this growth correctly can we get large profits from it.

Generally speaking, patriotic reverence for the history of a nation is a good attitude and it is highly advocated for the citizens of one country to possess. By using this strong mental tool, the country can be more solid. However, completely patriotic reverence sometimes can also bring some negative effects to the country. So only by correctly and reasonable reverenting for the history can we benefit from it mostly.

First, patriotic reverence bring more cohesion for the nation to deal with the obstacle on the developing road.

Second, the history of a nation which is often considered as a mirror can supply many useful and effective experience and advices for the development of the nation, which can heip it avoid repeating mistakes and going tortuous way.
Admittedly, patriotic reverence for the history can sometimes become a barrier to the development of the nation. Complete reverence for the history and neglecting the new current circumstance make the country depart from the normal way far and far.

In conclusion, considering the two effects of the patriotic reverence for the history, we can not easily say whether it does more to impede or to encourage progress. 总的来说，感觉受中国外语教学模式的影响很大，但是我们面对的是外国考官，我们只能适应他们的。建议先去看看范文，孙远的还不错，比较总结很重要，然后看看精华贴，如何写issue的帖子，上面写的很清楚也写得很好。老外看重行文结构和论述，首段表明观点，提出论点。然后三段展开，每段最好有事例支持，以致不在说空话，一段一个论点，结构清晰，说理要思路清晰有力，更高的要求就是说理有层次，最后你能达到说服考官，让他觉得你说得很有道理就对了。
都是我自己的想法，互相学习。
