What are some of the qualities of a good parent? Use specific details and examples to explain your answer.

Since family education plays an important role in child's growth, a parent must be aware of the fact that what he does and what he says will pose great influence on his child's characters and his later life. Hence, a parent must behave him/herself. In my opinion, a good parent should be honest, considerate to his child and having good life habits.

As a saying goes “Honesty is the best policy”, when it comes to a parent, it is also the case. Being honest can help a parent set a good example to his child and as a result, his child can gradually accept the perception that honest is the important quality a person should possess. We are familiar to the situation where a parent promises his child something but does not fulfill what he said. What will happen? The child will never trust his parent any longer and he may learn to be dishonest in his later life as his parent did to him. If that happens, it is really a tragedy. Therefore, a good parent should always try to avoid this situation and be honest to the child in any case.

In addition, being a good parent means that you must be considerate to your child. You must know what the child want and what the child does not what. There is no denying the fact that all parents want their children to be competent in later life. So, parents, more often than not, force their children to take many extra classes such as piano, dance, computer, calligraph and so on, they even do not care whether these classes are suitable for their children or whether their children have interests in them. In this case, hardly can good child-parent relationship be sustained. Therefore, try to be considerate to your child if you want to be a good parent.

Finally, before a child enters a school, parents are the best teachers and they must behave themselves and have good habits so that the child can have a good model to follow. As is often the case, many parents like smoking and drinking, they even do this in front of their children. Several studies have shown that children are brought up under such circumstances grow up to be smokers and drinkers more likely that those who are reared in a smoking and drinking free family, because children are good at imitating an adult often does, no matter good or bad.

In brief, to bring up a child efficiently and productively, a parent must realize that being honest and considerate help a lot, besides a good parent must be the one who exhibits good life habit, at least before a child.

speaking似乎有点慢啊，就几句话，都听不出中心意思，多少有点逻辑不好！

f_ding你的声音太小了，我几乎是抱着音箱才能听清楚，这样到了考试的时候会影响成绩的

用词和语法还有内容没什么可挑剔的，没写稿说成这样很不错了

但是整体感觉不大好，怎么说呢，好像你整个人很难过似的……

从一些升调和降调把握和一些单词的连读上能看出你的口语基础是很棒的，尽量表现得positive一些

另外尽量减少停顿，一定能有很大提高的 ^_^

p.s. speaking2下载还在挣扎中………………

1. 谢谢小马修改的作文, 你指出的最后那句是应该是more likely than 不是more likely that, 可见打错字是影响理解的，看来我以后要注意了，争取每个单词敲正确。
