What are some of the qualities of a good parent? Use specific details and examples to explain your answer.

When it comes to good parents, I always feel I am so fortunate that my parents ,though without high education, impact me significantly, using their honesty,  patience, and encouragements. Consequently, in my opinion, a good parent requires the three qualities I mentioned above.

In the first place, honesty ,which can have an impartant influence on children’s characteristics, is primary required. As we know, parents are the models for their children in every aspect. On the condition that a parent tells a lie, their children will probabily think that lying is anything but a bad habit, and then they learn to tell lies.  On the other hand, if children find out their parents are very honest, there is no denying that they will follow their honesty.

Besides honesty, another essential quality that makes an excellent parent is patience. It is known to us all that as children,they can make mistakes all the time. In other words, chidlren ,mostls, can not do something well at a time, such as learnig a new skill .As a result, their parents should be patient and not angry with this. If not, their child will possibly be hurted, and what is more, they will not want to learn new skills any more. A case in point is one of my friends. Once, his mother, an impatient woman, was teaching him riding a bike.In that my friend is somewhat slow to learn new things,he failed to learn it for several times, and then ,his mother, who is out of temper, was not willing to teach him any more.Hence my friend was hurt, and never want to learn from his mother any more.  

Last but not least, in stead of blaming their kids,good parents should encourage them frequently, especially when children  encounter some difficulties or make some errors. For example, good parents will analyze the problem their kids face and give some advices to help some. With the encouragements and suggestions from their parents, children can be inspired and learn how to resolve the problem and overcome the difficulties.Therefore  they will be promoted and make progress.

From what has been discussed above, we may eventually draw a conclusion that ,with their honesty, patience and encouragement, a parent will be a good one, and will have an crucial impact on their children.

这两天有事,回来就累得不行了.强迫自己写的作文,质量很低.随便拍.. 口语这次不交了..抱歉
