169."Those who treat politics and morality as though they were separate realms fail to understand either the one or the other." 任何认为政治和道德是两码事的人是既不懂政治又不懂道德的

Some people say that politics is relative to morality. Some others critique them and judge them as people who fail to understand either politics or morality. My opinion is that it depends on how we define morality. If it is separated into personal one and politic one, then the former one has nothing to do with politics while the latter has close relationships.

When the leader rules his country or his army, he will unconsciously bring his critical morality to the decisions he makes. For example, if a leader wants to rule the whole world, he may have two choices. One is war, by which he will call up millions of soldiers to fight for him. He may be cruel and when come across a hard-conquering place, he may not concern about the sacrifice of the army and residents nearby. Such as Hitler. Another one is convincing people by reputation. Provide people a peaceful environment and loose politics, they will all listen to him. As to the politics, it is always benefits some levels and destroy the interests of other classes of people. The majority of people benefit from politics, they will say, as well as the history, the leader has morality with high level. Such as the process of revolution lead by Mao Zedong in China. Consequently, politics show the attitude of the leaders though people, country, and the world.

Morality in our daily life is not the meaning above. In contrast, it shows the attitude a person has throughout others and life. Jealous, mean, selfish, or generous, warm-hearted, even, they all present people’s personal morality. It is bad political morality that Hitler has but it does not prove he has bad personal morality. How can so many generals respect him if he is a crazy man with low personality? Personal morality comes from human being’s desire of live on this world. It is essential to be a man and then other enterprises come after. From this aspect, morality have nothing to do with politics.

It is a complicated relationship between politics and morality. Saying that people treat politics and morality as though they were separate realms fail to understand either the one or the other is unfair. Karl Marx said everything has relationships. It has the point that no matter how far the distance between these two is, they will always have more or less relationships through some medias. In my view, morality of one person will certainly has effect on his or her ideas, which in turn affects the behaviors. However, when it come to personal morality, it has few relationships with politics, so it can be neglected while as to political morality, it has direct functions on politics.

Everyone see the world with his or her own eyes. It may be part of truth that someone holds, but asserting they do not get the truth is not right. As a conclusion, politics and morality have close relationships if the morality is for political morality and they are separate if we define morality as a personal one.

Some people say that politics is relative to morality. Some(删了吧?) others critique(criticize?) them and judge them as people who fail to understand either politics or morality. My opinion is that it depends on how we define morality. 逻辑不错的 继续努力.  词汇词组和句式方面有待进一步提高 加油.
