It has recently been announced that a new movie theater may be built in your neighborhood. Do you support or oppose this plan? Why? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

In my point of view, I support the construction of a new movie theater in my neighborhood after taking a thorough consideration of its advantages and disadvantages.

Primarily, a new movie theater enables us to have another choice if citizens are tired from work, study or several trivial stuff in ordinary lives and have a desire to look for some entertainment. In my neighborhood, there is no movie theater for years. Last year, when the movie "Harry Potter" Every time was on in my 20th birthday party coincidently, my brother invited me to see this film adapted by my favorite books. We had to go the theater in another town by subway and it took 3 hours in the way. The experience was not only costly and exhausted, but also ruined the good mood in birthday and enjoying a film. If we have our own theater in our neighborhood, we can see comedy with parents or friends when we're in happiness. A tragedy or touched love story is available at any time when we are in depression or in love with somebody. A tired one can get close to another world without stress or a large amount of workload in theater and relax himself. Therefore, a new theater enrich citizens' lives by offering them one more channel for recreation.  

Also, the stimulation to economy is expectable if a new movie theater appears in the area. Common sense tells us economy is directly related to the capacity of consumption. A theater has a significant impact in creating some new careers so as to reduce the unemployment, inspiring citizens' passion of buying food in the shop besides the theater, and raising the attraction of the neighborhood for its complete establishment of entertainment.

Someone might argue that such kind of project should be rejected because of the adverse effect of noise it will bring about. Nevertheless, the advanced technology nowadays can provide a noise insulator in the theater and nobody who is sleeping or takes a break will be interrupted by the noise. Thus, the advantages of building a new movie theater is over the disadvantage, which makes the decision of building the theater wise and profitable.
