Some people think governments should spend as much money as possible exploring outer space (for example, traveling to the Moon and to other planets). Other people disagree and think governments should spend this money for our basic needs on Earth. Which of these two opinions do you agree with? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

In the past decades, exploring outer space is being more and more popular to most countries. According to many recent reports, a number of countries have sent satellites to the orbit around the earth. Some advanced telescopes are floating in outer space to probe into the unknown parts of the universe and try to find new discoveries. These activities of questing for new experience, however, are really exciting and helpful to humanity, although the cost is to some extent extraordinary. Understandably, there are some people who opposite governments’ investment on exploring outer space. As far as I concerned, I will have no doubt to support our government about spending money to exploit outer space.
The first reason why I support to exploit outer space is that it is can be the symbol of a country’s national power. Obviously, only the country has stable and powerful economic strength can it have enough money developing such state-of-the-art technology, for the reason that exploring outer space needs a huge amount of researching related to numerous subjects, all of which require a lot of scientists’ long time researching. From the original design to the final function, Rockets, Satellites and spacecrafts cost too much money. On the other hand, the achievements of exploring outer space can also represent the technologic strength. Therefore, exploring outer space is crucial to represent a country’s comprehensive strength of both economic and technologic, which can promote the country’s international standing and influence in the world.
Besides, exploring outer space is actually advantageous to human beings’ live condition. Nowadays, satellite navigation and position technology, which is due to the research done in the past in space, is widely used. We no long have to use the traditional tough tools such as maps and compasses in the wild, using advanced satellite navigation system is more convenient and precise. Besides, On account of the completely different environment in the outer space, things can happen beyond people’s imagination. For instance, China has experienced the experiments of taking the seeds of crops into the outer space by Shenzhou spacecraft. By some cosmic radiation functioned to these seeds, the production has increased significantly.
What is more, exploring outer space can provide us more rooms for humanity in the future. With the population explosion, the living space available for humans is decreasing. Looking for new space in the outer space is a good way to settle the increasing demand of habitats.
In conclusion, exploring outer space is obviously advantageous to all human beings. I definitely support our governments to spend as much money as possible to probe outer space.

As far as I concerned, I will have no doubt to support our government about spending money to exploit outer space. 把开头写这么长而且都是该说的话（一句废话都没有），很赞，但是如果限时的话，好像写这么长的开头就不划算了吧？但是如果时间够的话就没问题
