A friend of yours has received some money  and plans  to use all of it either
    to go on vacation
    to buy a car
Your friend has asked youfor advice. Compare your friend's two choices and explain which one you think your friend should choose. Use specific reasons and details to support your choice.

Nowadays, with the development of standard of living, people confront a dilemma between the material wealth and mental enjoyment. My friend is getting into such a problem. In fact any choice would bring the friend benefits, either mental or material. But I would advise him to choose the car for maximum benefit.  

Firstly, I think it is necessary to clarify the real situation of our country. It is a developing country and a car is not common in most families. If my friend buys a car, then the car would be his first one. So it could give him much convenience he had never got. For instance, he could drive the car to his work place rather than crowded in buses. Not only convenience can he get, but also much time would be saved. He could use the saved time to learn new knowledge or to relax. I am sure my friend would feel the great convenience as soon as he begins to use a car.

Furthermore, owning a car could facilitate the family's vacation, in other words, my friend would go on vacation more easily after he having a car. If we have no car, the only vehicle for vacation is train or airplane, but the biggest disadvantage for them is depriving the our freedom．We have to travel along the line of train; as a result we have lost many opportunities to see some special views. Owning a car could change the situation from the root. We can go wherever if there is a road. Also, traveling by private car is beneficial for the old and the children to travel together.

Admittedly, the other choice is also a good opportunity for my friend since he could go to many places which he wants to view. Maybe he would have no extra money or enough time to fulfill his dream. But I stick the opinion of buying a car from the point of practical view. After all, the vacation is temporary while the practical life is what we have to face in the future. Buying a car is a better choice for my friend to promote his standard of living.
