Many teachers assign homework to students every day. Do you think that daily homework is necessary for students? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

When it comes to the question that whether daily homework from teachers is indispensable for students, I agree with the opinion that moderate daily homework is necessary.

Primarily, daily homework plays a pivotal role in helping students review and grasp a firmer understanding of what they've learned everyday. As we know, the large amount of knowledge and information we have received in the daytime in school is usually complicated and easily forgotten. Especially, we get involved in not only one subject but also various subjects such as mathematics, physics, arts, humanity and the like. Common sense tells us if we want to master some specific information, we have no choice but to remember it at least three times. Therefore, to complete daily homework is an effective way to master and comprehend the knowledge from school every day.   

Also, the advantage of daily homework should not be ignored, which is homework can develop students' capacity of addressing problems independently. An example can serve to illustrate my point. I used to fail in my geometry tests many times even though I listen to the teacher carefully in class, take notes scrupulously and ask question immediately when I have doubts on something. Ultimately, my father pointed my problems. I never spend time in thinking and figuring out the solutions to any problems by myself whereas I always brought questions to school and got answers directly from my classmates or teachers. Realizing it, I started to accomplish daily homework on my own and devoted myself into analyzing questions and this measure was effective in improving my academic performance and my ability to deal with various problems.

Admittedly, in some cases, daily homework from teachers is too much to prevent students from having a rest or taking some physical exercise. In my point of view, too much daily homework will also bring harm to students' absorbability of knowledge and have adverse influences on their scores.

To sum up, since moderate daily homework is vital to help students study and think as mentioned above, teachers should give temperate home assignment to students every day.
