I partly concede with the speaker's opinion. For the reason that it is admittedly that the scandals reveal the problems of the society which includes the aspects of politics, academic and other areas. However, there are also some scandals which have no values to the society.

The scandals can attempt our eyes to the society's problems that we might neglect in our early times. As far as I am concerned, the society's development are together with the problems which are unavoidable all the time. One of the most significant thing is to check out the wrong direction we are head in. For example, one scandal about the business of the rights and money between the Government's leaders can tell us the truth that we should strict the law and we should take more actions efficiently to avoid this happen again. That is the power of the scandals.

More over, the scandals are not only belongs to people. It can occur as a social phenomenon and reflect the big problems which of numerous values and which should be specially focused. Another example, Beijing, As the big city in China, the city which will hold the 2008 Olympic Games, a year before we can even find many beggars in the most famous street there .When these facts are explored on the TV-news, the government then had taken serious measures to handle this problem. And this scandal of the big city reflect the long distance of the poor and rich, it assimilate the government to put new politics for the poor and let the society’s development more properly.

On the other hand, not all the scandals should be pay much attention, neither to dig out the deep truth behind them for the reason that they are none of values at all. In today’s society, there are too many people who want to be the star and to be focused by the public. In the thoughts of these, they may lose there pure humanity and to create some virtual incidents, many of which are as scandals, also can attempt our eyes at one second for their explosive power. Nevertheless, this kind of scandal are not have any value to the society. Conversely, it is harmful to our society in terms of that we may lose the right moral standards by the highly focused “artificial scandals”.

To sum up, the scandals may help the government know the society’s problems. And together with the public’s efforts, they can solve all the questions the scandals reflected out. However, we must be careful about the fake scandals at the same time, for that will converse out moral standards.
