The speaker claims that the greatness of individuals can be decided only by those who live after them, but not by their contemporaries. In my point of view the speaker unfairly generalizes, and the final judge should depend on a case-by-case analysis of different situations, abstract divide three distinct forms including the literature, the natural science, the art and the business.
Firstly, in the realm of literature, most brilliant minds exceed their contemporary’s understanding and tolerance. For example, Emily Bronte, the famous British female writer whose work didn't accept by the contemporary writer and critics, however, yet few nowadays can deny she is one of the best writers in the British. And the other writer--O’Leary even write a novel about that a writer get the honerment after he died but that should be get and deserved when he lived. Form these instances, we can get the point that sometimes, the great writer do need us give them understandings ,however, we could not provide because the contemporaries can not get the height of these writers’minds.
When it comes to the research in the natural sciences, these great scientists and their invents and discovers must be tested over longing time before it can be confirmed. For example, Albert Einstein whose relative theory not every one can totally understand when he just appeared in the magazine, but, with the time goes by, more and more people accept the point of the theory. And the theory becomes the great basic theory in the subject of physical. The natural scientist need time to test their accplishments,so the people lived after them have much more chance to recognize them.
Concerning the arts, greatness lies in their enduring influence to those of later generations. For example, Ludwig Van Beethoven who is the most famous composer in German and he present the milestone of the time of the classical and romantically, however, when he was lived people didin't have the view that he was a talent and excellent musician, on the contrary, Pagnini is the same time with Beethoven, however, people treated him absolutely different with Beethoven for his excellent technique of play, after the test of long time, the people that live after them think about the really musician is Beethoven rather than Pagnini. People would think about Pagnini only when they need practice their technique of finger.
In the realm of business, in most cases great achievements is recognizable immediately. For instance, Bill Gates---the CEO of Microsoft company which is the responsible for lifting American technology out of the doldrums during the 1970s to restore America to readily recognizable now—as it is happening. Because the stander of success in business is absolutely different with other realms of course the greatness is already secured and admitted by contemporaries.
In sum, the speaker overlooks some other aspects about this issue, particularly in the realm of business. Nevertheless, other great accomplishments in the history, especially scientific ones, cannot be confirmed as such without the benefit of historical perspective; after all, the contemporaries might be able to give a right answer to the greatness of individuals, however, only the people of live after the famous can give the best definition of greatness.

The speaker claims that the greatness of individuals can be decided only by those who live after them, but not by their contemporaries. In my point of view the speaker unfairly generalizes, and the final judge should be depended on a case-by-case analysis of different situations, abstract (这样原型开头对吗?) divide three distinct forms including the literature, the natural science, the art and the business.(后面句有点乱,或者句式太难我没看懂呵呵)
Firstly, in the realm of literature, most brilliant minds exceed their contemporary’s understanding and tolerance. For example, Emily Bronte, the famous British female writer whose work didn't accept by the contemporary writer and critics, however, yet(用一个就行了,呵呵) few nowadays can deny she (后人赞成,与她当代的不赞成,那不是和题目观点一致??开头的unfairly generalizes矛盾吗?)is ne of the best writers in the British. And the other writer--O’Leary even write a novel about that a writer get the honerment(honesty吧?) after he died but that should be get and deserved when he lived. Form these instances, we can get the point that sometimes, the great writer do need us give them understandings ,however, we could not provide because the contemporaries(什么呀??我们不行是因为他当代的人……,,说不通吧) can not get the height of these writers’minds.
When it comes to the research in the natural sciences, these great scientists and their invents and discovers must be tested over longing(long) time before it can be confirmed. For example, Albert Einstein whose relative theory not every one can totally understand when he (it) just appeared in the magazine, but, with the time goes by, more and more people accept the point of the theory.
In sum, the speaker overlooks some other aspects about this issue, particularly in the realm of business.(为什么呀?其它的为什么没有它重要啊?) Nevertheless, other great accomplishments in the history, especially scientific ones, cannot be confirmed as such without the benefit of historical perspective; after all, the contemporaries might be able to give a right answer to the greatness of individuals, however, only the people of live after the famous can give the best definition of greatness.
