Based on our initial review of your application to our Chemistry Ph.D. Program at Stony Brook University, we are extremely pleased to invite you to meet with a team of our university faculty who will be conducting interviews in Asia at the end of February and in early March. This invitation is extended to only a small group of applicants. We are very interested in you as a prospective student in our program. Last year, the final offer and acceptance rate among students we were able to interview was very high - significantly higher than among those who we did not interview.
The interviews will be conducted shortly after the New Year holidays, in three different locations in China and one location in Korea. The locations and dates are provided below. It would be very much appreciated if you could respond to us as soon as possible, and certainly no later than Friday, February 15th, to let us know which location you prefer for your interview. The Graduate School will then contact you by e-mail, to confirm the location, date and time for your interview. Therefore, please confirm whether this e-mail address is the one you prefer for these subsequent communications.

Shanghai: February 25th, 26th and 27th
Nanjing: February 27th, 28th and 29th
Beijing: March 2nd, 3rd and 4th
Seoul, Korea: March 4th and 5th
