TOPIC: ISSUE50 - "In order to improve the quality of instruction at the college and university level, all faculty should be required to spend time working outside the academic world in professions relevant to the courses they teach."

Learning life longtime is the cornerstone of success in today's complex and rapidly changing society. No one can stay in a position for a longtime if he didn't learning and improve his knowledge as soon as possible. It is also the same with the faculties in the college. They should learning outside the school to do more practice.

Practice is the promise of the theory. Without practice, theory is inefficiently and can't catch up with the development of society. Teachers in college have plenty time to connect with the theory, and so they could do little practice on what they taught. This hind the improve quality of both teaching and learning. If teachers are required to spend some time working outside the college and to do lots of practice relevant to what they teach id good for teaching. As we can see, practice is the only test of theory.

As the world changing, everything is not stay in the same condition but changing rapidly. So some theory in our books, which was used in our college, may fall behind the society. Thu, it is necessary to require to college faculties to spend time working outside the academics world in professions relevant to the courses they teach. Because it could help us college students to keep along with the complex society and rapidly changing job market. The books are dead but the society is alive. If we close our door and learn in the room without concerning what happened and what have changed out the door. We will find we couldn't keep up with others the day we came out.

However, time must be considered, because if our teachers spend much time on working outside, it will probably influence on the teaching job. I know some school adopt a set of restrictions about stop teachers from doing job out of school. A great deal of teachers hunt job after school for a extra salary or other reason, as a result they have to divided their working time. This kind of deed influences the quality of teaching seriously. So schools hesitant have punished those teachers. Thus, if we want to improve the quality of teaching, working time both outside and inside the school should be planed, and energy should be put in the teaching job. Only doing like this can help improve the quality of teaching.

Finally, improve the quality of instruction at college is not only required the quality of teaching and level of professor, but also required the moral education. If we just put our energy on how to put up students' academic level without concerning their moral education, the result may be very serious.

Considering all this, the destination of education is to teach every student to be a useful person for society. So, moral education is as important as the person for the society. In order to improve the quality of teaching, instructions at the education must be enhance. We should keep a balance between teaching in schools and working outside in the relevant courses.

题目是要讨论教育质量和教师课外活动的关系,个人认为这个教育指对学生的教育,而不是对老师的教育。所以你的第一段的观点faculties should learning(learn) outside the school to do more practice。有问题.而且你在后面的文章中也提到了学生教育这个方面。

文章到了最后你的观点变成了balance,这个第一段的观点也不一样。

在论证你的分论点students should update the knowledge时的思路是教师有课外活动得到了新知识,这样也帮助学生得到了新知识。虽然大多数人可以猜到是老师把新知识教给了学生,但是还是应该写出来比较好,而且这一环节也最扣题目的一环。

finally的一段说要对学生进行道德教育,提高教育质量。与论题关系不大,可以一笔带过。用整段写有偏题之嫌。

总之,应该把题目看明白,选择态度,然后列出各个分论点,最后再写。这样会好一些。
