University of Illinois Urbana Champaign LA phd

The Fellowship carries a stipend of $7,000 and a tuition waiver of $10,868 (we anticipate that the numbers will increase slightly for 2008-9 academic year but we do not presently have that information from the campus) for a total package of $17,868. The Fellowship entails no teaching or research duties. For the Spring 2009 term, we will look for support in the form of an assistantship that will cover your tuition and provide a stipend, but we cannot promise you anything yet.

貌似只有第一学期有谱,有筒子遇到过这类情况吗? 大家帮忙诊断一下,怎么多搞点money?

背景

我本科在一般学校
研究生在北京读的
gpa 3.0
托福和gre都只能算中等
可能我的实践经验(外企二年多)和研究经验(做过一些国际合作项目)帮了点忙
