The speaker asserts that the beginner have more opportunities in making important discoveries than the expert around all field. In my view, the speaker overstates the beginner's importance in the process of making discoveries. Although beginner may bave clairvoyant mind than experts, the speaker exaggerates the role of those minds. The point is partial correct.
     The beginners always look at their academic field with a new direction and break the old boundary easily with their bravery as beginners. Their bravery that dare to question the authorities is a fundament that making themselves close to important discoveries. Copernicus, polish astronomer who advanced the theory that the earth and other planets revolve around the sun, disrupting the Ptolemaic system of astronomy, turn his major from medicine to astronomy and question the main idea about the movement of planets. Benefiting his own insistence and iron mind, he discovered the heliocentric theory. The authority at that time did not look upon the little professor, but finally they admitted the power of this so called beginner.
     However, we cannot deny that the expert is a important part of any field of inquiry. Expert full of material and intellectual factors always precedes the theory into deep and perfect circumstance. Da Vinci, famous artist who influence the art till now, created the system of art and promote the art to a new level. No one can deny that his professional skill in art and everyone could agree that his achievement benefits his profession. Look around our world, especially the computer field, concentrate a number of intellectual and high skilled experts improve the development of this industry.
No only the attitude of beginner daring to question insert vigor to the field, but the strict mind of expert plays a important role in any field. The beginner and expert are not mutually exclusive, and should benefit from each other. Experts judge easily a thing or situation based their past experience and knowledge and refuse to accept new thought, while beginners sometimes question all the things blindly lacking certain experience and knowledge. If beginners and experts both give hand to each other, the research will going smoothly and the academic field will be prosperous.
Through what have been discussed above, we could draw a conclusion safely that beginners might make important discoveries because of their free mind and experts always contribute the society entirely for their curious attitude. No matter they are experts or beginners, a skeptical and curious attitude help them find new miracles.
