1、"We can usually learn much more from people whose views we share than from people whose views contradict our own; disagreement can cause stress and inhibit learning."

When we retrace how our knowledge and thoughts are formed and gradually enriched, we may safely draw the conclusion that their correctness is mostly out of comparison and analysis of partially or completely different opinions. So we can usually learn much more from people whose views contradict our own than from people whose views we share. There are several reasons responsible for the above opinion.
First of all, as for a person who really wants to get genuine knowledge, differences and contradictions between his opinion and others can arouse interest or impetus to probe into problems concerned. It is very common that if people hold opinions different from us, we may have great interest in what their opinions are and finding differences. On the contrary, their opinions being the same as ours, we may have less enthusiasm about them or have not any enthusiasm at all, not to mention learning much from them.
What’s more, from views different from ours, we may find out the differences between them and analyze them, thus learning much more knowledge providing that their views are more correct, or, on the contrary, knowing that our opinions are more convincing. In the process of comparison and analysis, we should consult more materials concerned, use much known knowledge or theories, and do much analysis and thinking and reasoning, etc. Thus, no matter what results are, we can indefinitely obtain much knowledge. However, those views we share may have not such great influence on us, because to much degree, those views not only cannot stimulate our great interest but also almost omit such an intricate and strenuous but beneficial process, thus making us get little knowledge.
Admittedly, in some cases, we also can learn much from people whose view we share. If such, we may have much common language and can exploit those problems further with joy and may achieve much progress. Nevertheless, generally speaking, consistence in views can make us lose the impetus of progress, and we can obtain more from those views different from ours rather than opinions we share.
To sum up, views different from us can stir up ours desire for learning much more, and as a result, the process of comparison and analysis can give us what we want. So let us   welcome those opinions different from ours with great enthusiasm because disagreement can promote learning rather than inhibit learning.

First of all, as for a person who really wants to get genuine knowledge, differences and contradictions between his opinion and others(others’) can arouse interest or impetus to probe into problems concerned. It is very common that if people hold opinions different from us, we may have great interest in what their opinions are and finding(find) differences.

In the process of comparison and analysis(一般comparison 和 contrast是一对), we should consult more materials concerned, use much known knowledge or theories, and do much analysis and thinking and reasoning, etc. Thus, no matter what results are, we can indefinitely(definitely) obtain much knowledge. However, those views we share may have not such great influence on us, because to much degree, those views not only cannot stimulate our great interest but also almost omit such an intricate and strenuous but beneficial process, thus making us get little knowledge.(我觉得你这一段的论据与上一段重复,如cannot stimulate our great interest你一直没有跳出这个圈)

Admittedly, in some cases, we also can(can also) learn much from people whose view we share. If such, we may have much common language and can exploit those problems further with joy and may achieve much progress. Nevertheless, generally speaking, consistence in views can make us lose the impetus of progress, and we can obtain more from those views different from ours rather than opinions we share.

To sum up, views different from us can stir up ours(our) desire for learning much more, and as a result, the process of comparison and analysis can give us what we want. So let us welcome those opinions different from ours with great enthusiasm because disagreement can promote learning rather than inhibit learning.

1.        我觉得你所用的词语比较缺乏多样性,老是重复那几个词,如much more…,
interest….,comparison and analysis;
2.        论点论据只有一个,远远不够。你既然不同意原文观点,那么你就要层层递进地说明为什么“We can learn much more from disagreement rather than agreement, which, on the contrary, can cause stress and inhibit learning.”
如agreement 是怎样有害,历史上有何例子;disagreement 是怎样有利,举例,建议你看看新概念英语的Galileo Reborn这篇文章,或会帮助你开拓思维。
