一 Tijuana签证文件大全
本文只针对J2 转F1, F2 转F1也可参考。F1 renew 请自酌慎用。
由于惧怕墨西哥签证失败，所以搜尽了BBS 上所有前辈的经验材料，包括F2 通过INS 转
的材料。列出如下，材料按重要性分为5个级别，自以为第一和第二级是一定要备齐再去
墨西哥的。其他的材料，你是否备齐，就看你对签证的态度。如果非签过不可的，就都带
齐了吧。这样，你怎么被查， 都不怕。

本人情况如下：
J2  without waiver, 尚未注册。Dec 10 日成功转身份为f1

The first class:
1.my passport, current J2 visa , and I-94 form  
2.form DS-156, DS-158 ( two copies)  
3.I-20 form issued by the office of international students (OIS).
4.questionnaire ( attached with flight eticket, research background, resume)
5.appointment letter  
6.cover letter

The second class:
1.  Admission letter
2.  Offer letter
3.  Old Form IAP 66
4.  Marriage certificate
5.  Email from OIS to confirm my information has been put into ISEAS   
6.  SPOUSE (passport, offer letter, status verification letter)  
7.  PROOF OF TIES (请Chinese employer写的邀请学成回国的信, permanent resident
registration card)
8. TOEFL and GRE scores


The third class:
1．国内学校的transcripts and degree
2．PHOTOS OF MY FAMILY in China  
3．personal information(birth certificate, ID, Social Security Card,
employment authorization card)

The fourth class:
1. publication  
2. doctoral program (class schedule of the first semester, courses, university
introduction printed from website)
3. application contact with university( personal statement, application cover
letter, the emails )   

The fifth class:

1. SPOUSE (stub, salary statements, University ID, social security card,
driving license, permanent resident registration card, birth certificate)   
2. SPOUSE (resume, degree, and patent)   
3. Bank statement, phone bill, lease of apartment

这是我在mit上找到的，是bigtree系列的第一篇（见mit的overseas版的第161－164篇）。好像还满有名的，很多f2->f1的同胞都参考这篇文章，所以贴过来也给大家参考一下。

这篇文章满早的了，最近看到网上说INS经常会让补充的材料还有：户籍公证（certificate of residence)，当然如果有房产证明的，加上就更好了。
