The speaker suggests that students should question what their teachers teach them, rather than accept it passively. As far as I am concerned, it is benefit for students not only in learning in schools or university, but also in their future career, even for the development of society. So student should bring a certain critical thinking from the period of study.

To begin with that little part, during the class, skepticism can keep our mind working fast. No teacher can guarantee that he will not make a mistake due to their careless and limited knowledge. If students accept it passively without questioning how it is going, the error will never been correct and they won't understand this point clearly. Sometimes, teacher will skip some information to a notion or equation for he most people can understand it. If the student’s question how to get this notion or how to use this equation instead of just writing down what the teacher said, he will get more information and understanding it deeply after communicating with his teacher.

Such method of learning can not only help them get more knowledge but also develop their capability of analyzing and solve the problem by themselves.
Teacher cannot answer all of students' questions. At this time, students with a certain skepticism must search the answer by themselves, such as reading relative books, search the useful messages on the internet. If they are college students, they can do the experiment by themselves. That is the power of skepticism.

Secondly, the purpose of learning knowledge and skills is to find a job and contributes to the society. Critical thinking benefits students' career as sharp their competitive edges in a job hunting for most employees appreciate a kind of person who can find the problem merged in their company and solve the problem.

Along with a growing number of people with critical thinking take their jobs, development of our society must be soaring. Just like Bill leaving school with skepticism of his education, for achieving his Microsoft kingdom, unfair laws will be inquired and modified for satisfying most people's advantages. Old technology will be questioned and instead by new, effective one. It is skepticism that impulses the society.

In sum, skepticism is beneficial for both students and their society. So what the speaker suggests that students should question what they learn from their teacher, instead of accepting it passively is a considerable far-sight.
