如果每年上课11个月以上,学生会得到更有效的教育
There remaindifferent opinions between the viewpoint that student will get more effectiveeducation if they take classes for more than 11 months every year. Theassentors claim that the more time students spend in school, the more knowledgethey obtain. However, in my personal angle alone, long-time studying may not benefitus truly and my reasons will be followed.
I take the attitudethat education has several aspects, not simply the school-based education. Italso includes home-base education and other ways. If we have to study in schoolfor 11 months or more, then the home-based education can hardly have any chanceto be processed. Even if studying at school for a longer period can bring thestudents more knowledge from the book, it does not represent that they will getmore effective education because of the losing of home-based education willresult in the consequence that they may learn less life experience of theirfamily members, which is considerably significant and necessary for every childto grow up well. Hence there is no necessity to extend the time at school.
What is more,long-time studying may decrease the efficiency of students. It is supported by theresearch of OLDA institute that after a long period working or learning, somekind of hormone will be released into blood which can make people feel tiredand then reduce the efficiency. Therefore it is normal physical response thatstudents will feel tired of studying if they are asked to study for more than11 months every year. In that case, such policy will make the students loseinteresting in studying, rather than lead to more effective education.
In conclusion, asfar as I am concerned, it is not wise to prolong time of learning at school inorder to increase the effectiveness of teaching. Other ways such as adjustingthe curriculum might be useful.
