Obviously, if schools arrange their students to have classes for 11 month a year, they will have more schooltime and obtain more knowledge from school. Teachers could explain problems more clearly and detailedly when they have moretime in class. Efficiency of study is higher than staying at home on holiday for majority of students.
However, although the efficiency of study in class is improved, it doesn’t actually mean that their students will get more effective education. First of all, finishing integrated education not only asks students to study knowledge from class, but also from society and life. On holiday, they will have time to go out from home and school and contact people in society. Experience in society, which is the foundation of making their careers in the future, could be exercised in social activity. Schools could also organize some social services to cultivate their character from helping other people.
On the other hand, holidays could provide free time for students to get active study in their interesting and necessary fields. In other words, education should be full of individuation. On holiday, the students who like music could spend their time in learning instrument, singing, or dancing; others who is interesting in history could read some history books independent of class at school, etc. Even at university, although the specialty of students has been confirmed, they still need time for their active study. For instance, a student who studies science could touch professors to do some research in lab with their help; students majoring in biology will devote their time in making sure their direction of development, like biochemistry, economy, or medicine, and doing some further study.
Moreover, students need to have a rest and relax themselves after a semester, and holidays provide such a time for them to travelling, going shopping, doing some sports, chatting with friends, and having a sound sleep.
