With the speaker's assertion could be equals as the several notions including 1) people in one period of time are significantly different from people who lived at any other time in history is merely a illusion. 2) the chief benefit of the study of history is to break down this illusion. However, in my opinion, people in any period of time do living in a drastic different environment differs form each other, and the chief benefit of historical study is not to breaking this illusion.

To begin with, human beings have to admit that people lived in different time period are distinguished form each other in many aspect.In science area, the development of medical and medication continuously shaping people’s life, the discover of vaccination help suffered people internationally form massacre by small box, and the Tuberculosis never became the lethal disease in contemporary society, yet it was the nightmare affect people international wide in different historical events. And more representatively, the development of cars and airplanes enable people use faster speed to made their work done, later, the development of internet connect populace around world to contact each other in no time distance. compare these historical event, human beings are actually live in a life that are different from each other to a large extant based on time table.

Also, diversity are generated from different social culture and political influence in people’s lives. Chinese five thousand years of history background are enjoyed with great diversity of people’s lives. In Tang dynasty, populace are given liberty in their lives, women wear clothes made by voile, shoulders and chests are exposed and they are also encouraged to study as man did. The literature developments also attain its acme in Tang dynasty. In the former dynasty, In Shang Dynasty, the over-suspicioused emperor hold large scale of punishment toward literature workers and believed in principles of strengthen the authority with military force, therefore, populace are suffered from wars and aggressions. In the initial stage of establishment of new China, populaces are influenced by the idea of work on county side in order to construction the better of the society. Thus, we can see, people in different period of time do have great diversity at least from the perspective of science development and culture and social politics, and this is not a illusion

Another problem I have to mention is that the benefit of studying history should include many other aspects. history inform people about traditions and cultures, helping in understanding the science and phenomenon, otherwise, there could no discover of ancient precious canons and art works, and the astrologer’s works contribute great to contemporary astronomy. The study of history also inform people about historical mistakes, including political, military and scientific, the examples replete as times goes by, the discrimination among different ethnics, and the ethnics massacre, the misunderstand of sun-centered theory, so on and so forth. In short, the chief benefit of history study is more than broken the illusion.

In sum, not only people lived in different times live in great difference is not a hallucination, but also the study of history has other benefits need people concerns more.
