argument161【today is the day小组】第一次作业 紫薇花开

Topic In a study of reading habits of Leeville citizens conducted by the university of Leevillemost respondents said they literary classics as reading material However a  follow –up study conducted by the same researchers found that the type of book most frequently cheeked out of each of the public libraries in Leeville was the mystery novel Therefore it can  be concluded that the respondents in the first study had had misrepresented their reading habits

In the analysis the arguer conclude that since the reading materials preferred by the same respondents in the survey are different the literary classic liked by the first group of  respondents wwhile the mystery novel by the second groups of respondents the respondents in the first study had misrepresented their reading habits To support this conclusion the author make a comparison between two study about the reading materials but this argument suffers from critical fallacies

In the first place the argument based on a hasty generalization the arguer cite two survey that In the first study respondents are like literary classics as reading material and in the second study respondents claim that they prefer the mystery story while in the first study the forget to present the styles of literary classics as we all know There are may types of literary classics –such as poem novel legend—which contains mystery novel based on the mystery story as its classic characteristics to attract the attention of readers even though the first study give on the results that the Residents prefer literary classic we cant argue that the respondents in the first study had misrepresented their reading habits

In the second place the argument have a foundation of a fallacy of assumption The arguer fail to provide the evidence on what kinds of the respondents How many people in the study make a respond and to the important whether the respondents are indifference in the two study or not no matter on the number of respondents and the constitution of the respondentsTo support the argument the arguer should convince us that the respondents have the quality of representation
in the survey

In addition the arguer have a fault that he fail to tell us when they do the study we all know that as we grow the taste on all kinds of things have more or less different as before if the first survey were made when the respondents are young and at that time they prefer literary classics but the second survey were made when the  respondents are adults and at that time they like mystery novel as reading material based on this point the argument left the conviction out of its reach

In sum up the arguer fail to support more evidence on the argument weakening the conviction on us To strengthen the argument the arguer could should make the argument precious such as providing the time between the two study the number of the respondents as well as the background of the respondents and to the important clearing the notion of the literary classic and mystery novel

argument161today is the day小组】第一次作业 紫薇花开

Topic In a study of reading habits of Leeville citizens conducted by the university of Leevillemost respondents said they literary classics as reading material, However, a  follow –up study conducted by the same researchers found that the type of book most frequently cheeked out of each of the public libraries in Leeville was the mystery novel Therefore it can  be concluded that the respondents in the first study had misrepresented their reading habits

In the analysis
the arguer conclude that since the reading materials preferred by the same respondents in the survey are different, the literary classic liked by the first group of  respondents w, while the mystery novel by the second groups of respondents, the respondents in the first study had misrepresented their reading habits. To support this conclusion the author make a comparison between two study about the reading materials
but this argument suffers from critical fallacies.

In the first place the argument based on a hasty generalization
the arguer cite two survey that In the first study respondents (are) like literary classics as reading material and in the second study respondents claim that they prefer the mystery story, 在第二次研究时没有回应者,是图书馆的数据while in the first study the forget to present the styles of literary classics as we all know There are may types of literary classics –such as poem novel legend—which contains mystery novel based on the mystery story as its classic characteristics意思是说文艺著作中也有怪诞故事是吗?这个表达好像不清楚to attract the attention of readers even though the first study give on the results that the Residents prefer literary classic
we can‘t argue that the respondents in the first study had misrepresented their reading habits.

In the second place the argument have a foundation of a fallacy of assumption
The arguer fail to provide the evidence on what kinds of the respondents How many people in the study make a respond and to the important whether the respondents are indifference in the two study or not no matter on the number of respondents and the constitution of the respondents
To support the argument the arguer should convince us that the respondents have the quality of representation
in the survey.
样本不具代表性

In addition the arguer have a fault that he fail to tell us when they do the study, we all know that as we grow the taste on all kinds of things have more or less different as before if the first survey were made when the respondents are young and at that time they prefer literary classics but the second survey were made when the  respondents are adults and at that time they like mystery novel as reading material based on this point the argument left the conviction out of its reach. 这个意思是对的,但是这样说把人群定在年轻人本身是由局限性的,建议前面加一句大前提是人们爱好会变,然后把这段写成一个反例就好了
In sum up the arguer fail to support more evidence on the argument weakening the conviction on us To strengthen the argument the arguer could should make the argument precious such as providing the time between the two study the number of the respondents as well as the background of the respondents and to the important clearing the notion of the literary classic and mystery novel.

总的说观点可以,展开不够,语言还可以再提高!模板不成熟,文主快考了吧?ARGUE 题目要读好, 可以再提高的!
