Topic：Rituals and ceremonies help define a culture without them ，societies or groups pf people have a diminished sense of who they are

The notion that the culture defined by Rituals and ceremonies help societies or groups pf people a strengthen sense of who they are ， in fact ，the Rituals and ceremonies are a kind of specific form representing the contents of a culture 。How to well know of a culture is the issue now  just by observing and understanding in heart the Rituals and ceremonies 。So I can‘t have to go very far to see the truth of this argument

First of all every culture is characterized by a unique set of Rituals and ceremonies，culture is the spirit of specific Rituals and ceremonies。While Rituals and ceremonies While Rituals and ceremonies perform specifically the culture
Take China and America culture for example ，The Spring Festival is the begin of a new year in china ，at this time eating dumpling is crucial for Chinese 。because it means security for the people and unity for the family while in America Christmas is the most important festival 。The Spring Festival represent the culture dispelling the ghost and monster ，for sure that in the next year people are security and happiness；Christmas present the culture  missing the Christ  who died at December 25th ，suffering paint and disaster instead of all of the people

Furthermore， we know who we are through understanding and observing a particular set of Rituals and ceremonies prescribed by our culture 。without doubt ，each  kind of culture is instilled the spirit of distinct people 。Rituals and ceremonies transact the spirit of distinct people，not to say ，that it perform a kind of culture ，drama is the gems of our country representing the Eastern culture ，when we see drama ，no matter when it is and where we are ， the pride for Chinese culture come out from the heart of every Chinese people 。The same to WuShu and Painting of China 。they have a long history and develop as the development of history

Like it or not in every culture of the world traditional Rituals and ceremonies are declining as a result of the modern trends of secularization and globalization 。it is especially obvious on the Youth today。 In china there are several festival from western culture strucking the soul of Youth，
Such as Christmas ，Valentine's Day，April Fool's Day，and Father’s Day ,However, many of them have already forget what day is the QingMing Festival ,when is the DuanWu Festival even and the First Spring Festival in every year

Admittedly, people can understand themselves through other means such as working , attending social activities ,giving or receiving education and so on . But undoubtly in the Rituals and ceremonies people play different role that gives them the social identity and the sense of themselves
