Technology not only influence but actually determine social custom s and ethics

Technology broadly defined as the use of tools has a long history. As the rapid development of technology drive the development of society such as Internet and computers as the new technology today make work ever more efficient and knit the world together in a web of information and phone lines at same degree it do indeed influence the action and behavior of people .But we can’t exaggerate the impact of technologies on social customs and ethics

Firstly ,Technologies have radically changed the way we spend holidays Technologies improve the speed of transportation ,for example ,before we need to spend several days from china to America by ship because the expense on tickets of airplane is too expensive ,few can afford it but TODAY ass the technology improve the speed of ship and make great progress on engineer of ship’ it cut down the time we spend on the routine, at the same time ,it is the technology that involve the function of engineer and fuel of plane so that it ids possible for us to go to America for holiday .importantly there is alterative for us by which transportation

Secondly, The new ways of communication brought about by electronic technology  have transformed the way we associate with each other in daily lives modern technology the communication faster and easier ,with better communication with larger number of people such as telephones ,fax machines and computers has definitely cut down on the amount of physical contact with other people .This is especially true in recent times due to the extremely rapid expansion of the internet E-mail and tele—conferencing are direct substitutes for physical contact ,especially in the business world .unarguably in rapid development of new ways communication brought by technology people also feel loneliness just because they need face-to –face contact with other people and importantly Time spend commuting is generally unproductive and spend alone

Admittedly, at some degree .technology do indeed influence social customs and ethics .As above mentioned technology rapidly developing bring convenience to daily life people live a colorful life .Take the Spring Festival in china for example ,every year in china ,people only have already become a necessary diet for Chinese people but it can’t determine social customs for the invention of TV set make happiness come nearby however ,not all of population watching the channel of Spring Festival, especially Youth ,today, many of young men spend their New Year in chatting together or playing games the means of spending happily Spring Festival haven’t been determined by technology ,Additionally, Although mobile phone ,E—mail make communication easier than before ,at Spring Festival eve ,all of people try their best to go home to spend Spring Festival with their family

In sum ,technology have a great effect in society today ,it bring convenience and simple to life .Indeed it influence the social customs and ethics but we can’t say it determine the social customs and ethics
