HOSTUK 是一个非营利组织，旨是在帮助国际学生融入当地的生活。



参加HOSTUK有什么好处呢？

参加HOSTUK的活动最主要就是可以 体验英国式的生活，一览英国人如何度过他们闲适的周末。当然啰，文化交流也是很重要的一环！在学生结束拜访后，常常与寄宿家庭的爸爸妈妈或爷爷奶奶成为永远的好朋友唷！

HOSTUK提供一个了跟当地人交流的机会，让你能在短时间提升英语听说能力。

寄宿家庭不仅免费提供吃、住，常常还会带学生参加一些当地的活动，让学生可以更深入的了解他们的生活并度过一个难忘的周末。（详情请见www.hostuk.org.uk）



如何申请：

1.      前往www.hostuk.org.uk

2.      选择左边的STUDENTS，单击application process。

3.      看完简短的申请说明后，单击底下的 Entre the Application Process。

4.      在进入新的窗口后，单击Your first access，填入你的姓名和email地址，单击apply之后，系统会自动将登入密码发送到你所输入的邮箱。

5.      回到你的邮箱，单击其中的链接激活账号。

6.      用你所注册的邮箱地址和所发送的密码，在Student那一栏登入。

7.      登入后再依照指示填写线上申请表格，在HOSTUK注册的手续就完成啦！



P.S.从申请完成到被安排到寄宿家庭，大约需要2-4 周不等的时间，不过如果你能快速完成所有的申请要求，你是很有机会在一周内就被安排到寄宿家庭的喔！







HOST is a registered Charity of 21 years’ standing, founded by the FCO, the British Council and the Victoria League for the express purpose of providing home visits throughout the UK for international students studying in the UK.  With its network of nearly 2000 volunteer host families, HOST is the only organisation able to provide this service in every part of the UK.  



HOST is the simplest and often the only way for international students to integrate with the local community and family life of the UK.



It's really easy to apply! You can apply on-line but be sure to follow procedures as given on the web and shown below.



Procedure for anyone wishing to apply on-line

1. Go to www.hostuk.org.uk
2. Click the left hand button under STUDENTS Section -Select Application Process
3. Scroll down the page and click on Enter Application Process (New window will open).
4. Then click on Your First Access. Enter 1st Name, Family Name & Email Address. Click on Apply
5. A Message will be sent to your email address with a password
6. Activate your account by clicking the link in the email.
7. Complete the online application form and we will start process your application.
