那个更好，serious movie 还是 amusing movie？（2007.3.23 ）

In modern society, seeing movies becomes one of the most important ways for people to spend their leisure time. Some people enjoy seeing serious movies that bring us deeply thought. Some people are crazy about amusing movies. For my part, I would like to see amusing movies better.

To begin with, frankly speaking, serious movie can educate us in moral way or other aspects of our lives. For example, if we see a family type of serious movie, we may think more about how to take care of our family members and how to give more love to our parents. Once a time, I see a movie called my father and mother. I was throughly moved by the story of it. After that, I understand more about the parents' love, and care more about my parents at the same time.

Though serious movie has the effect of education, I believe more people love to see amusing movie, for it can bring us more happiness. For most of the time, we come to see movies just for fun and relaxation. So seeing a amusing movie will be a better choice. Amusing movie can make people laugh which is a good way to make ourselves refreshed. And also the topic in the amusing movie is more easy. For instance, if I am so tired after a long time of study, I will see some amusing movie like Chicken Run which is so interesting and makes me laugh all the time.

Furthermore, amusing movies are more easily to be remembered by people. We can always remember some interesting part in the movie easily after we see a movie. And we also like to talk about the fascinating scriptures from the movies with our friends in our spare time. There is little time that we would like to talk about the serious movie because we think that is boring. Therefore, there are more amusing movies keeping in our lives.

To sum up, amusing movies will be more attractive, impressive than serious movies and they will satisfy our needs for fun. In this way, I believe amusing movies are better than serious movies.

Some people enjoy seeing serious movies that bring us deeply thought. Some people are crazy about amusing movies. For my part（好像是on my part, for me), I would like to see amusing movies better.

To begin with, frankly speaking, serious movie can educate us in moral way or other aspects of our lives. Therefore, there are more amusing movies keeping in our lives（这句有语法错误，keeping改成kept，另外我没看明白这句的意思）.

To sum up, amusing movies will be（are） more attractive, impressive than serious movies and they will satisfy our needs for fun. In this way（sense）, I believe amusing movies are better than serious movies.

不过，我想请教一下，看电影是用watching movies 吗？我查的牛津词典上写的是：
movie
/ mu:vI; `muvI/ n (esp US) 1 [C] cinema film 电影: go to (see) a movie 去看电影
fascinating scriptures  可以是说成是吸引人的片段吗？

应该说see 和 watch都能用的，至于之间的小差别现在拿不准，我明天问问外教再来。不好意思了，没查过字典，小时候老师一直教的是watch movies，所以~~

scripture是电影片段么？episode似乎更常用啊。还是觉得fascinating

go to see a movie可以的，see a movie也行，但是watch a movie 更好

外教的原话是Usually we say "I'd like to watch a movie", not "I'd like to see a movie'. I'll go see a movie is OK. If it is in a composition, make it simple. Watch a movie is better.
