The title statement is the focus in these days and any speech about it would surely strike the top lines of most newspapers。To agree or disagree with it is a matter of balancing between its pro and cons. but if one has considered the following perspectives, he or she could only agree with the title statement as I do.
First and formost, speaking, none the less, is more intelligible and more prone to reception. There is an undeniable notion that the voice of the bottom of one's heart presented by acoustic words is obviously gracious, glamorous and gorgeous. Voice often contains the courteous, considerate and cordial emotion of the spirit of the speaker. It is more easily for us to access to one's covert heart by the speaking style to some extent. This is demonstrated by the undeniable factor that we usually and always get information by judging others mood from the voice, which may comprise anger, frustration, depression and so forth, so that we can obtain the secret information and make a full preparation for the incisive conversation just around corner. It is this help that we badly need, in other word, this potential assist is of exceedingly significance to us in the social interactions. So speaking provides us a better understanding and reception approach in communication.
Subsequently, considering the real situations in daily life, the efficiency of a way to convey one's opinion is without doubt superior to any other factors. In contrast to writing, speaking holds an innate merit-- efficiency, because it is, obviously, more fast and informal. Never will you feel words from a real person is rigid, firm and tedious, yet hardly can you find a man who is writing faster than speaking, which sounds absurd and ridiculous. Still I will show you an example that when I say something to my parents, friends, or my brothers. I never use too much of euphemism because this will let them feel exclusive and indifferent. So, as a consequence, speaking is more superior to writing in expressing one's angle in a relatively efficient approach.
Last but not least, although writing has its own advantages to some extent, such as more insinuate and more formal, which also have positive effect on communication and expression, the disadvantages is also discernible. It needs a complex process of language construction, which costs a lot of time and energy and arouses some indispensable matter such as misleading.
All in all, speaking plays a more eminent role in our life than writing, we must choose this efficient and infallible approach as the panacea of social interaction in daily life.
