Agree or disagree: Teachers should assign homework for students every day. (2007.1.13,学习教育类)

The importance of education is considered to be more and more crucial in the modern society. It has long been put into qualm in deciding whether teacher should assign homework for students every day. Some people prefer not to leave homework every singal day because they hold the belief that it would be a great burden for the students. However, in my perspective, students have to do homework each day for the reason that doing homework is a good way to review the knowledge learned that day. What is more, by assigning daily homework, teachers can help the students form a habit that is benifical to their study.

The first reason for my propensity to doing homework every day is that it serves as a proper method for the students to review their knowledge taught by the teacher each day. Students spend most of their time of a day in school to study new knowledge. After a whole day studying, the knowledge they learned might be so much for them to remember. Consequently, by doing homework assigned by the very teacher of a particular subject, the student could practice what they have learned in the day. As a result, the knowledge could be profoundly studied as well as remembered.

Another essential factor is that by doing home work every day, students could get used to studying by theirselves which is a significant habit for them in their future study. It would be beneficial for the students to form a habit of studying every day on their own. A concrete instance could illustrate this point, my high school teachers assigned homework for us each day and I was used to doing some study after school. Until now, I have already red a large number of books by myself since I would like to study after a whole day's work and study. Consequently, my horizon as well as vision is greatly broadened.

Admittedly, inferiority always coexists with priority, the disadvantages of the daily homework cannot be neglected and denied. Nowadays, the lessons and lectures seem occupy too much time of a day. The burden of study is already too heavy for the students to bear. Thus, to leave homework for the students each day might be another burden for the student

To sum up, it is true that assigning homework for the students each day might hold several demerits. However, in my viewpoint, the merits it brings obviously carry more weight not only because it helps the students to form a proper habit, but also because the students could solidify what they learned during school time every day.

楼主的语言功底很好，要么就是模板句套得很好。总之，文章中的复杂句用的很到位。如果能够加一些短从句，或者是状语前置、独立主格等非完整句在长句之前，会使文章更有节奏感。另外，study和homework这两个词在这个题目中必然是要多次用到的，建议楼主做做同义词替换。例如study可换为acquire/attain knowledge， homework可换为assignments、task、problems等。总的来说，很不错的一篇文章，水平肯定在在下之上了，佩服！:)
