The impact of technology and technique has had on our life increased beyond our imagination, while a well-equipped and professional research center is the most crucial impetus to the improvement of technology. When it comes to the problem that which center is preferable in my country, a business center and or a cultural center, divergent people have divergent opinion due to their distinct background and experience. As far as I am concerned, although a business center can bring some advantages, the merits of a cultural center are needed more desperately, chief among of which are the significant cultural techniques and its contribution to sustainable development.


First and foremost, the initiation of cultural technologies best back up my inclination. For example, China, be famous by its large population, suffered from poverty and starvation for such a long period. In 1950s, only a few disasters can result in countless victims by starvation, moreover hardly can any individuals stay away from being hungry since the lack of food. However things totally changed after the invention of one kind of brand-new rice by Yuan Nongping who is a very famous professor in China and even in the whole world. At present, instead of suffering from the shortage of rice, we can even help and export to other countries. Nevertheless, while enjoy this achievement, we should keep being sober and thoughtful, it is the cultural center that bring those scientists the helpful equipments and environment.


Subsequently, sustainability of development is an increasingly severe problem in our country. Since the desperate demand for improvement of agriculture, free dumping of toxic materials and unorganized plantation, we seriously destroyed the balance of ecosystem and numerous resources in nature. Think about global warming, earthquake, tornado and acid rain, the nature is revenging our faults in the past 30 years. If human continue this downward spiral it may be only a matter of time before our wonderful world turns into nightmare. With the constructing of a cultural center, undoubtedly, we will benefit those numerous technologies that are free to environmental pollution and thus relieve the pressure from nature.


Admittedly, those individuals who bear the opposite view are partly reasonable. The newly business center, since its powerful impetus to our economy, can figure out financial problems and bring numerous jobs. However, when we carefully balance their pros and cons, make a profound consideration on the current situation, a gorgeous cultural center is still needed more desperately in China.


In a nutshell, although the business center owns some obvious merits, the cultural center, boasting its impetus on the development of culture and negative effects on environment, is much more preferable.
