There are many resources of news and information in the world。it's difficult to know whom to believe and what is truth.谈一下你的观点(2005 年12 月17 日)

Advanced technologies have great impact on the means from which we get information. However, it brings confusion as well as convenience to our daily life. Choosing a reliable mass media becomes rather difficult and time-consuming. And I believe the government, mass media and almost every individual have contributed in this confusing situation, actively or unconsciously.

Government was expected to be the most reliable information resource . However, the information released from government is always tedious and complex. They fail to provide common people a general view of certain events although the accuracy and authority are guaranteed, t. And the events they regarded important are seemingly less relevant to individual's daily life. Therefore, reliable it may be, it actually provide less useful information. And it is not surprise that people act indifferently in the information provided by government.

Mass media, such as TV and newspaper, can always attract our attention by dazzling pictures and fascinating titiles. They have to attract people's eyeball because more readers lead to more advertisement. And advertisement is exactly where they make profit. Under such environment, the accuracy and reliability is no longer important. The title can be irrelevant to the content as long as it is attracting. Driven by the profit, they even artificially compose news. On the other hand, new media, such as Internet, is relatively independent and impartial. However, the origin of the news and information posted on Internet in itself is hard to track，needlessly to say it's rather difficult to tell true from false. And the fact that people take little responsibility in on-line broadcasting news and information make the chaotic situation even worse. In conclusion, mass media is either unreliable or difficult to follow.

People who read the news and information are both the victim and the murder. They murdered the reliability of the news by delivery it without critical thinking. And they become the victim of their own works because they partly encouraging the mass media to create such kinds of news. Ironically, some people spread the false information while complaining the low reliability, making the innocent people to believe the wrong information. There's one reason for doing so----maybe the temptation to exaggerate or even distort the fact is universal.

I think it's the right time people use their intelligence to figure out a way for reliable news and information, otherwise we will finally suffer from it. And as a individual, critical thinking is something that we should always bear in mind.

觉得这个and应该不要。。应为这句是主题句，用and似乎突出不了这一句。

Government was expected to be the most reliable information resource .
（was 改为 is）第二段感觉有detail但是无实际例子支撑，似乎说服力不好。

第三段开始没主题句，不太清楚这一段主要要讲什么意思。看了好几句才明白。不过这段论证还是很精彩的！！

第四段角度很新颖。论证同样精彩。

看完全文之后，觉得作者用词表达意思能力很准确，很强，句式变化多。只是例子有点少，即没有那种具体的fact。。。
