Do you agree with the following statement? Nowadays people spend too much time on personal enjoyment - things they like to do rather than the things they should do.
with the progress of modern technology and economic rises a discussion worth consideration, which demonstrates whether people spend too much time enjoying their lives. To my knowledge, those who indulge in the enjoyment of comfortable life will suffer more. With respect to my side hereupon come numerous aspects.
First of all, it is education, rather than enjoyment, substantially stimulates the success. Education is one of the key words in our time. A survey by Newsweek last month indicated that nearly eighty percent granted that education acts as an indispensable part of our lives; moreover, through education engender the interest and creativity, which enable us to climb the ladder of success. At the same time, over ninety-three percent acknowledged that a man without wisdom, an increasing number of people believe, is an unfortunate victim of adverse circumstances, deprived of one of the greatest opportunities. Spending most of time on the life enjoyment means little time or even no time can be left on the study. Obviously, education would be rather worse.
Besides, the more time people spend on luxury enjoyment, the more pleasure people want to acquire, and thus the more money have to be paid. On one hand, money is essential for all of us to live. Wherever the money is obtained, it is not a easy job at all. Thus, we have to cherish it. On the other, if more and more people were to spend all of their money on the enjoyment, with nothing left, it would be a severe social problem.
Last but not the least, people participate in too much activities will engender a vicious circle. Widely accepted, a culture of a nation, also a reflection of the living habit and life outlook, does acquire maintenance by every generation. However, adults spending too much time on personal enjoyment is a change of the traditional culture. Further more, it would lead to serious effect on the young juveniles. To some degree, they would imitate these things. Then, when they grow up, the circumstance will be the same.
In brief, spending too much time on personal enjoyment has given rise to the negative effects far beyond our imagination.
