51. "Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

提纲:

1.       满足每个个体的教育是一个目标,但是无法实现。

2.       由于教育资源的匮乏,满足每个个体的需要代价太大。

3.       学生们往往太年轻而无法认识到自已真正需要的是什么,学习不喜欢的课程是教育的一部分。

4.       过于uniform的教育会是学生变得平庸,应有条件的支持学生发展自己的兴趣。

5. 总结。



Specifically designed education is a goal educators and teachers pursuing, but people who have more than a passing thought will realize that education is hardly to meet individual needs and interests of each students.

First of all, it is impossible to specifically designed education program could lead financial burden. Since education become a powerful and economic force because a great number of people enrolled in school. Although the investment from government and charity is yearly increased, it is far more behind demand of specialized design. Because of different background and experience, students' interests and needs are different from one to another, if we advocate specialized education program, it is likely that a students at least needs 4-5 professional teachers to serve. Obviously this is a big squandering to precious social resource especially to education resource. Plus, decades before, students only need pens, papers, books and some simple devices to support, but contemporary, with the development of the society and technologies students’ needs high-tech and complex devices to fulfill their experiments. Those equipments apparently more expensive than before so that government and school can not satisfy every single student.

Furthermore, students often to young to realize what they really need. Some what they consider significantly may become worthless when they grow up, therefore they needs some professional educators design a systemic and completely learning plan, which in all likelihood could not meet very student’s need and satisfy his or her interests. Because the study is a dull and boring process which is especially suitable to general, fundamental courses, students can not give up merely because of this. The fact is, study the disciplines which we do not like is an integration of education, at least it can develop students’ patient and willpower, which are very crucial for students entire life. Moreover, if students only learn which they like and needs, they will abandon a myriad of knowledge which certainly will undermine their academic basis, further undermine their further study. Even worse, if what the student abandons is the moral part, he or she will become lacking personality. Therefore, in order every student have fully personality as well as stably academic fundament, we can not let students choose what to learn casually.

Nevertheless, excessive uniform education makes students stay in mediocre level, they are lake of imagination and creative, they reconcile to mediocrity. They never have sense to become distinguished. Only people who have unique skills or abilities could obtain achievement in such fierce competitive society like today. Therefore to this level we should meet students according to their needs and interests. As we all know that interests is the best teacher, when students finished mandatory course, teachers and parents should support and help them to develop their interests, improve their talent. Maybe the tiny interests could become an occupation; maybe the interests will facilitate a scientist, an artist or a writer.

To sum up, specifically designed education is not realized for limited social recourse and will bring about obstacle in further study. Whereas without specifically designed education will ignore students potential talent, which will leave them in negative position in the competition. Thus we should to maximum meet students’ needs and interests under the restrict circumstance, at the same time to guarantee students acquire general fundamental knowledge.

总体上思路清晰,一些小错误需要注意。我自己写的论证不足,需要向你学习。
