Does study of animals help us to learn human nature?

Trace back to the ancient period, these is no human beginsat all. All kinds of animals shared the earth, they fought, struggled for foodand fertilized their babies. The instinct behaviors helped them to live on thisplanet. Time passed by. Once upon a time, our ancient stood up and tried to usethe tools. The human begins emerged and took control of the world gradually.Though great changes happened during millions of years’ evolving, we are still akind of animal with corporeal body. In my opinion, we do keep certain animalinstincts and behaviors, the physical body also. So, the studies of animals dohelp us to learn more about human nature.

One of the reasons is that we can practice medicalexperiments on animals instead of on human. We all know that the rice is the properanimal to do the medical experiments because of the similarity of it to ourhuman begins. The result or phenomenon happens on it can be more or less anaccurate prediction of what is going to happen on human. So, without injuringany human, we can get the result we want and the approximate phenomenon ofhuman nature.

Another profit is that we can gain is that we can study theremaining instincts which are owned by most of the animals. For example, thenature of sex and violence are the most common instincts among human. ProfessorFloyd interpreted almost every behavior of human with the instincts of sex and violence.These instincts can be found almost all kinds of animals. When a male bird singsto a female one, it is because the sex instinct. Or a lion attack another lionwho enter his territory, it is because both the sex and violence instincts. So,we can study the human behaviors through the study of animals.

In short, we human begins are animal in certain senses. Thebehaviors of animals some times are mirrors to human. And the physical body ofanimals can reflect human body in certain ways. So, the study of animals willhelp us to learn our nature.
