do you agree or disagree the following statement: Being happy with your job is more important than high salary.（2006 年1 月21 日）

As for a job-hunter, they are always confronted with such a question. Which is more important being glad with job or high wage. I think the answer of this statement depends on your own experience and life style. In my point of view, being happy with job is as significant as, if not more important than, high salary. So it is sagacious to be pleasant with work for people. Among the countless factors which influence the choice, these are three conspicuous aspects as follows.

The main reason for my propensity for happy job is that people who are satisfied with his job tend to work with a high efficiency. Divergent people usually have different attitudes toward job. Psychologically, these attitudes and emotions will affect people. For example, one with a depressed emotion is inclined not to work well. If one is still under this kind of state, he is very likely to lose his job. Therefore, it can be seen that the optimistic attitude on the job, to a great degree, is crucial for people.

Another reason can be seen by every person is that it is a common phenomenon that one with a high payment is not certainly happy about his job. In modern society, there are a great deal of people pursue the job with a high salary rather than the job they are virtually pleased with. These people cannot gain the happiness of occupation, but keep suffering from it. They have not understood the essence of the life and vocation. The ultimate goal of work is to enjoy the achievement and happiness from it. It is too sympathy for those people to just work for high payment. In short, we should realize the core of profession.

Furthermore, the job which one is really happy to passinate to do it well. A fair proportion of people work for their gladness from the job. Among them are many well-known entrepreneurs, such like Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft company, MaYun who is the CEO of Alibaba corporation in China, and so forth. It is they who really love their enterprises and jobs. Thus, they do create and establish the unparallelled and amazing achievements with a tremendous enthusiam. Thereby, being happy with job is of great benefit for people.

In a word, taking account into the above factors, we can conclude that high salary is less substantial than being pleased with job.
