学校是Ohio State，申的是EE的PhD
能得到教授这样的回信真的很吃惊，因为我的背景很平凡，211的小本，GT也都很一般（99+1300），就是专业成绩好一些。可能是因为和OSU教授的研究方向很match吧，也不知道会不会有面试~~

Upenn 细胞与分子生物学，只在网上查到了录取，第一批fellowship available on 01/22/2009，因为这是自己最想要的结果，所以一知道录取就把申请的其他学校都退了，以免占着位置。
背景：普通985高校，临床医学本科，最后一年 GPA：3.71， tofel 30+29+19+29， GRE 630+800+4.0 有点实验室经历，无文章，用心陶瓷，最终修成正果，有面试表现不错，但是更大程度上也是运气，不一定能反映真实水平。希望对亲们有点参考价值

申请博士，Ph.D in Materials Science & Engineering.
本科在美国读的，专业大概30 - 50名。
major: Materials Science
GPA: 3.8/4.0 　不知道排名
T: 652 (老的，纸考)
G: V750 + Q800 + 5.5 (机考)

3次研究经历　＋　毕业论文，　不过没有发表文章。
大三暑假给一个牛校（排名前十）的教授打工，获得推推荐信一篇。
其他２个来自于本校老师。　  

这个学校陶瓷不成功，之前找的一个教授说今年不要学生，本
以为没有希望了。

今天收到University of Pittsburgh  IS的ad了。是email过来的。一个奇怪的问题是我到applyyourself的系统里去查的时候里面的状态还显示的是pending faculty review。问下这种情况正常吗？
还有就是一般在什么情况下才能拿到offer啊，连收了2个ad郁闷的很。各位大牛来给小的指条明路啊。
