Agree or disagree, Newspapers can truly help people understand world events. Television news doesn’t provide enough information

Does television news provide not enough information and newspapers truly help people understand world events? There is no consensus among people. Some argue that newspapers bring us enough information. On the other side of the leaf, some people, including me, convinced that television is significant for the society.

There are two fundamental arguments to support my claim. The first one has to goes on the efficiency of television news. For one thing, there is no denying that television news could respect the famous events in several hours. Such as the Hour News(整点新闻咋说) on BBC. For another, television news is helpful us to understand the news by it's picture and sound. A survey conducted by International Communicate Committee indicates that people will remember the news when they both see and heard the news.

In addition, why there are so many people are fond of use television to obtain news is that the television is more neutralize than newspapers to let people understand world events. On one hand, it is universally acknowledged that most newspapers have criticisms which may be confusing the citizens. Nothing is more significant than the human right of know the truth. Besides, we can not emphasize the neutralism of television too much. For example, most of television news is provide visible new which is much believable than newspapers.

Nevertheless, an argument, also the one I find most compelling against my claim, is that newspaper could brings convenient reading style for citizens which is not available in common television. Although I concede this point, in my observation, this problem could be solved by high technology television. One needs to look no more than the newspapers' and televisions’ advertisements to find evidence that this is the case. For instance, nowadays high technology portable television is small enough to let people watch news everywhere even in the toilet

In sum, this issue is a complex one which requires subjective judgments. In sum, newspapers surely provide information to us to understand the world events, but for more fashion and efficient way, television provides us more information than newspaper. Thus, so significant benefits the television provides us that we can not afford to ignore it. Consequently, the television is the same essential as newspapers to citizens’ common life.
