Is it better to spend money on something that lasts long time, such as a expensive piece of jewelry, or spend on something that provides a short-term pleasure, such as a vacation.

I've no idea of what kinds of pleasures people long for. Those who are addicted to luxury probably take glorious gemstone precious, while others might prefer hanging outside to taste the air of freedom. To me, whose hobbies and interests vary pretty wild from science & art to painting & traveling, it's nearly impossible to make a choice. That is, both long & short-term pleasure counts.

One proper instance for long term values fanciers are the collectors. Paintings, jewelries, CDs, shoes, candles, anything that are durable can all be in the list. One way or another they can provide people who stores them a sense of satisfaction, which assures a considerable guarantee period. That's why I buy cassettes and DVDs instead of taking a seat in cinema. You can watch the disks again and again and again whenever and whatever and however, with your friends, your family, or yourself. Different situations with distinct persons create varieties of feelings. The convenience and flexibility are the things that cinema-watching can't beat.

Besides, permanent things provide something to show and let others to admire. They denote your taste and give evidences to remind people who you really. That’s why we take pictures during vacations and show them to our friends, for everyone has more or less an affection towards vanity, and the desires to communicate and share. Without permanent things it's impossible to prove what you've achieve and where your values lies. Even the solitudes like Thoreau have the impulsion to write down their thinking.

But it gives no sense that ephemeral pleasure should give the way. Life is so absurd and we need pleasure flashes to make us happy. A crazy party, a capital concert, a nice picnic, anything that can release pressure or console the heart can all lead to positive affects towards life, thus it indirectly provide a long term pleasure. I happened to attend an expedition of Simon Foundation's collection which focus on the 19th century's classical canvas. I took about 2 hours finishing the visiting, quite a short-term yet wonderful experience. What's more I felt fancy about Pissaro's masterpieces which force me to learn more about him after I returned. Thus I gained a fuller cognition about impressionism. And the fact that Pissaro struggled to devote himself to painting under family force in his 25 does cheer me a lot, which encourage me to follow my dream.

So as the above, it will be unwise to give up either one while seeking your interests. You will lose much pleasure just focusing only long or short-term things.  My advice is, take balance!

I've no idea of what kinds of pleasures people long for -> has been longing for. Those who are addicted to luxuries probably take glorious gemstone precious要么改为adv要么不要, while others might prefer hanging outside to taste the air of freedom. To->For me, whose hobbies and interests vary pretty wild 修饰vary,应为adv from science & 简写符号还是不要出现的好 art to painting & traveling, it's nearly impossible to make a choice. That is, both long & short-term pleasure counts.

Different situations with distinct persons create varieties of feelings. The convenience and flexibility are the things that cinema-watching can't beat.

Besides, permanent things provide something to show and let others to admire. They denote your taste -> reflect your taste and give evidences to remind people who you really ->express your distinctive personality.

这有让步关系,需要连词it gives no sense that ephemeral pleasure should give the way. Life is so absurd?boring and这有点因果关系,改用that吧 we need pleasure flashes to make us happy. A crazy party, a capital concert, a nice picnic, anything that can release pressure or console the heart不是很地道,console ourselves 好了 can all lead to positive affects towards life, thus it indirectly provide a long term pleasure. I happened to attend an 拼写错误expedition of Simon Foundation's collection which focus on the 19th century's classical canvas. I -> It tooks me 上一句主语是I,有点变化较好 took about 2 hours finishing the visiting, quite a short-term yet wonderful experience. What's more I felt fancy about Pissaro's masterpieces which force-> interest sb in me to learn more about him after I returned. Thus I gained a fuller cognition about impressionism. And the fact that Pissaro struggled to devote himself to painting under family force in his 25 does cheer me a lot, which encourage me to follow my dream. |留学|签证|TOEFL|GREU X~i{

So as the above, it will be unwise to give up either one while seeking your interests. You will lose much pleasure just focusing only long or short-term things.  My advice is, take balance!

You can watch the disks again and again and again whenever and whatever and however, with your friends, your family, or oreven好些)yourself. Different situations with distinct persons create varieties of feelings. The convenience and flexibility are the things that cinema-watching can't beat.
Besides, permanent things provide something to show and let others to admire. They denote your taste and give evidences to remind people who you really. That’s why we take pictures during vacations and show them to our friends, for everyone has more or less affection towards vanity, and the desires to communicate and share. Without permanent things it's impossible to prove what you've achieve and where your values lies. Even the solitudes like Thoreau have the impulsion to write down their thinking.(还是写能持续很久的东西的好处 Eg vacation 拍得照片能很久)
But it gives no sense that ephemeral pleasure should give the way. Life is so absurd and we need pleasure flashes to make us happy. Crazy parties, a capital concert, a nice picnic, anything that can release pressure or console the heart can all lead to positive affects towards life, thus it indirectly provide a long term pleasure. I happened to attend an expedition of Simon Foundation's collection which focuses on the 19th century's classical canvas. I took about 2 hours finishing the visiting, quite a short-term yet wonderful experience. What's more I felt fancy about Pissaro's masterpieces which force me to learn more about him after I returned. Thus(重了换一个moreover?)I gained a fuller cognition about impressionism.and不能用句首大侠说的 可以改成such kinds of masterpieces And the fact that Pissaro struggled to devote himself to painting under family force in his 25 does cheer me a lot, which encourage me to follow my dream.(短期的好处 EG 两个我不知道的人给你带来的快乐 不错)
So (去掉soas the above, it will be unwise to give up either one while seeking your interests. You will lose much pleasure just focusing only long or short-term things.  My advice is, take balance!
