It is no denying that the highly developed modern science and technology has made many revolutionary changes in our world over the past years. Thus, it is not hard to imagine that some radical change would also occur related to the books just like books of bamboo were displaced since the advent of paper in ancient China. Consequently, what will be the substitute of printed book? The most possible equivalent is E-book so far. From my point of view, however, it is unfeasible that students will use printed books no longer in the next twenty years from now on, because the printed books still bear a couple of advantages. First of all, from the perspective of economy, the conventional printed books are more practical than the e-books. Even though the rapid advances in science and technology enable the electronic productions to be more pervasive, under on circumstances will the inputs to produce the device of e-book lower than that of producing printed book within the next twenty years from now on. Moreover, in some region on earth there are a huge amount of children who are homeless and even cannot afford to eat. Education is out of reach for them, not to mention popularization of e-books. Therefore, promoting education for students with relatively low cost is much more pressing. In addition, the printed book serves as a healthy reading tool. In order to alleviate eyestrains, many publishing companies adjust the color of the paper as well as the font and size of the words to be suitable for reading. Though e-books could also achieve these merits, screen resolution of e-book devices might be lower than actual paper, making it difficult to read e-books. Furthermore, looking at a screen for a long time can result in eye trouble and sometimes headaches. From this point of view, before all these drawbacks of e-books being perfected, the printed book should continue being employed by students.
From discussed above, taking into account the virtues of the printed books, they will not retire from the stage of history in the next twenty years from now on. 已经有高人点拨了语法哦。LZ的观点和我差不多,个人觉得结尾丰满些就更好了。 |
